View Full Version : Extra Magic Hours

LOVED the night time extra magic hours!!!! The parks were packed beyond our expectations this past week, but with the extra night time hours that was not a problem. Left us more time to enjoy our resort during the wonderfully warm, sunny daytime hours when the parks were mobbed. The MK and MGM were open until midnight, and AK was open until 8:00. All attractions were open in the MK, with minimal if any waits. Almost all attractions were open at MGM, with the exception of the live action shows. At AK they had one special Tarzan Rocks show, and a couple Lion King shows, along with the Safari, ITTBAB, Kali River Rapids, and the rides in Dinoland. The trails were not open, and no Pocahontas show. We did not do the EPCOT late hours so I don't know about that park. Overall, it made our trip all the more wonderful.

What a great mini-report! This makes me so excited to experience extra magic PM hours! I hadn't thought about how they would enable more time at the resort in mid-day, heaven! Oh, I hope they keep this program!

Sounds great! I appreciate your taking the time to give us a report. I agree with Miss B -- I sure hope they keep this schedule for the summer.

Welcome Home cshore! Those night time hours with everything open sounds heavenly!! I wonder, if they have everything open to see what gets frequented more, so in the future, if they choose to keep this night time option, they will offer only what is most popular?

It sounds like you used those extra hours to great advantage cshore! I sure hope they keep this program, it is such a great perk for Disney resort guests, much better than paying for the e-ride nights that are only available at Magic Kingdom. Glad you had such a wonderful trip!
