Yesterday while floating/swimming in the Miller Road Quiet pool, 3 DVC Manager type guys came in and we all said "Good Morning". Then they clustered by the Spa and were discussing the planting and gesturing here and there. Then they started walking around the pool and the head honcho (I think) says to me "we have the wettest water at Disney, Don't we". Of course I agreed and also added that it is much warmer water then in NH. :) The guy goes on the say that they will be refurbishing the pool. I say really, what are you going to do? Well, they will be re tiling the Spa and putting in some sort of collection tank; draining the pool and resurfacing it all. Replacing loose tile there and also resurfacing the deck area. Also that they will be doing all three quiet pool at OKW. I did over hear they say Miller Road was first when they were by the spa. So I say great, are you start this week? (Kidding with the guy) and he laughed and said no. I said "all right" and he said I was good to go for the week!
So, I do not know when they will start, but I assume (note first 3 letters) that it will be this year. So if you have an OKW vacation coming up, you may want to check on the Quiet Pool situation if you are so inclined.
