Good Morning All!
"The fastest way to succeed is to double your failure rate." --Thomas J. Watson, Founder of IBM
So, you see! Every time we slip on our diets we're just that much closer to success!
Today I have done my core exercises and had a healthy breakfast.
I will
drink water
eat healthy
avoid the ice cream
Happy Day, All! Let's ROCK!

OK, I'm on a roll-two days of healthy eating and water under my belt. My goal is to make it day three.
Other goal is to do at least 10 minutes of exercise. I know that sounds like nothing, but I've got to get over my total aversion and that's all I can stand!
Have a great day everyone!

Good morning...just a quick post for me today!
BTW...Good to see you Dennis!! Haven't seen you here in a while.
Hot and humid here too...maybe I will be able to cool off when we are in Florida. I am carrying my small notebook around with me to remind me of all the things I have to do. Everytime I get something done, I cross it off. Everytime I think of something else, I add it on. And so it will go until Saturday morning.
I hope you are all doing well! Please make sure to drink that water in this heat!!! :D

Good Morning Healthinators!!!
Warm and humid here too! no job calls so I will get a run in (I hope with new shoes before the rains come). I'm trying to get a trip group meeting together to make some decisions- but it isn't happening before next week from the looks of it. I need to get some groceries today and get my change into the bank to turn into Disney Dollars what's collected after today will be toll and "pressed pennies change" .
Goals:
Call GS office and see if troop can still attend silver award dinner tonight (they are getting out of Drivers ed earlier than expected so we could be late for dinner- or eat on way and get to awards on time)
-Run
-shop
-bank
-water
-eat smart
-no snacks
I guess that's it- stay cool all!!

Good to see you this morning Dennis! Keep drinking that water while you work hard today.
Heading back to work today, but wish I had one more day at home. I called the doctor and got two more meds last night, that are really helping out. Still don't have the energy I want, but am hoping it will come back as I get better.
Todays goals:
make it through the day
drink water
eat a healthy meal (have had soup for three days now)
And don't push it too soon
Talk about humid, we've had four hot days here and Terry wants to put on the central air! We had the furnace on for a few minutes here last Sunday. I'm wondering how long I can get him to hold off before he puts on the air.
Hope you all have a great day! :circle:

Good Morning All!
Busy morning here. Feeding the baby cereal is a long process, he just doesn't like. 3yo is enjoying Hercules for the 20th time. Today is his last day of preschool for the year. It'll be Mimi's preschool for the summer. I'll have all three,
5 yr, 3y and 4mth. I'm hoping my mental health holds up under the summer heat.
Did well with water yesterday and OK with food but not great. Each days is an effort and I'm getting better with it.
Todays Goals:
64 oz of water
SBD
Stay cool.
Have a magical day!

JennyAnne,
Have a great trip!!!
Dennis,
Drink lots of water! Masen is so cute!
Ursulinda,
You are so good to have your excercise done already. I just dragged out of bed and got to work.
Bookwood,
Hope you get lots of Disney Dollars. I should do that with my change.
Esmerelda,
Good luck with the excercise. I was like you I dreaded it now I am virtually addicted to it.

It's a glorious late spring day here! Wish I could share. We could all go for a walk :)
Today's goals:
Drink my water earlier
Continue to eat well
2 10 to 15 minute walks (I managed 15 min yesterday, yay!)
Doctor's appointment--take list so I remember everything
Spend quality time with Bernard by walking together :)
Sit down and do some writing for my doctor. :creator:

:tink: Morning all! Getting in by the skin of my teeth. They said on the weather last night that it would be warming up about 10 degrees warmer the next couple of days. I'm sittin' here in my pj top & short pj bottoms & a sweater on. I'm always cold but I'm sure the summer here will change that for me! LOL!
It is another great :sun: day here & feels great! 8) I've already gotten half my water in & eaten smart. I ate 3 entire meals yesterday, which is a first in months because of how I had been feeling. When I say entire, it's like protein & veggies, plus my two snacks. My DH went out last night to get ice cream which he was holding off because he didn't want to eat it in front of me. Wasn't that sweet? He's a great guy. And he brought home a hot fudge sundae w/vanilla & pumpkin  ice cream, so I took one little bite, enough. Yuck! I don't recommend pumpkin ice cream!
Goals are to stick to the drinking plan & eat smart! We're going food shopping in a moment so I'll keep all that in mind.
Have a great day all. :tink:

Great job on your excercise, MissB!
JennyAnne, I'm getting so excited for you!!! Less than 48 hours to go! WooHoo!
:mickey: :minnie:
I had to take Eric to the eye doctor today to check out his injury, so I couldn't go to the gym today. Boy, it's hard to go in the afternoon. Somehow the motivation to drive 20 minutes there, and 20 minutes back just wasn't there. I decided I'd walk on our street, and what I gave up in drive time, I made up for in heat and exertion. We sure have some rolling hills here in Tennessee.

:tink: AliciaG, Tennessee is a gorgeous state. Walking is great exercise & a really good alternative to the gym that you missed. :D
I forgot to wish Jennyanne a great trip! :bounce: Wow! It's time! Have fun & we can't wait to hear about it. :tink:

Today was a fine day. Tough day at work, but tomorrow is Friday. It is all good. Took my team out to lunch today. Went to a moderately nice place. I had a caesar salad without the cheese and dressing. Added honey mustard on the side -- kept that to a minimum. It seems easier for me to eat less honey mustard dressing because it is so flavorful. Everybody got dessert. I ate a few bites of one of the chocolate desserts. I don't feel bad about it, though -- I just skipped my morning and afternoon snacks. Eating a good supper as well. It all works out.
Still need to get in my walk today. Alicia, your post makes me feel better. Maybe the hills burn more calories ;-) BTW, what happened to Eric?
Tinkerbell -- is your DH trying to create an ice cream aversion? Ugh, pumpkin.
Miss Bianca -- way to go. Every bit of exercise helps. I'm really enjoying my walks because it is time just to talk to DH.
Sheryl, take care of yourself and feel better.
Esmerelda, hope you enjoyed the exercise. Trust me, it will get better.
Everybody -- you are doing a wonderful job. Way to go.

Hey folks!! I just got to where I can finally work on talking to you. I am in a hotel in Naples, FL. I worked out with Mike the trainer this morning from 7-8am - went to the office at 9am and left to drive to Naples at noon. I got here at about 6pm. I have a meeting in Ft. Myers tomorrow and will drive back to JAX on saturday. I am planning on a workout tomorrow morning here at the hotel before heading to the meeting.... and a 4 mile long run on Sunday am.
I did well with eatting today -- had a grilled chicken sandwich on the road for lunch (after eatting NO breakfast...)
and 1/2 an order of chicken portabello with grilled asparagus at macaroni grille for dinner. No idea how many calories dinner was... but since I skipped breakfast - I should still be under 1500.
I hope everyone had a great day!!!

BTW, what happened to Eric?
Amy, he got hit in the eye with a baseball Saturday night. He was having tryouts for the travel team, and was playing second base. The ball took a bad hop and smacked him right in the eye. It was completely swollen shut immediately. I was at home with the girls, but John called me right away. There was a nurse there, and she said she didn't think any facial bones were broken, and you had to hold his eye open for him to see, but when you were doing that he could see OK. It looked worse than I thought it was going to, but by Monday it was open enough for him to go to school. The swelling has gone down quite a bit, and it's now getting that black eye look. The eye doctors appt. was just a precaution. Thank goodness he's fine though. :D Oh, and he did make the travel team.

Ouch. I'm glad everything is ok. I'm guessing it was harder on you than him though :-)
