I would wait until the DVC/AP discounts are announced. Maybe one of the nights will have a discounted rate.

Thu, 10/22 - MK and MNSSHP that evening
Fri, 10/23 - Epcot with MFT Illuminations Party that evening
Sat, 10/24 - AK with ToT Race that night at DHS for those interested.

I had better do MNSSHP since I did MVMCP. I hear that it is better. Right?

It is way better :mickeyHalloween:you will have such a good time. The parade is awesome and the fireworks are the best. There is lots of trick or treating and in my opinion chocolate is by far better than stale cookies!!

MNSSHP is fabulous. Hmmm, now I have to start working on a costume. More accurately, I have to find someone to work on one for me. I do bear an unfortunate resemblance to Mr. Smee, although he has a more manly voice than I.

Thanks Carol, I totally missed that, sorry

I'm with Carol, this is IMHO the BEST party and you don't end up with only one treat(like the cookie) you get a bag full......best fireworks and parade and let's not forget the Headless Horseman
I can't wait!!!!
I've never seen it. I was not impressed with the MVMCP, though. It was too dark to really see the parade very well. Is it better at the MNSSHP?

I love this party so much more than the Christmas party, but I will be spending most of my time going around to characters for pictures. I'll also watch the fireworks from the street because they are just so awesome with the castle background!

Kathleena, you bring up a good point about the fireworks, for the HalloWishes fireworks you really need to be in front of the castle. At MF we always met in the Rose Garden but maybe we need to think about that?

When we met up for the ToT run at MNSSHP, we ended up being at the top of the path in the Rose Garden rather than all the way down the bottom. Then right before the fireworks started some of us took off and hurried over to the hub to watch them. I think I remember some people watched them and then came over to the Rose Garden.
The group wasn't as huge as during MouseFest, so congregating more at the top of the path wasn't a big deal at all. And we did luck out with the party not being so busy, so ducking out to the hub right before they started was easy too.

I cannot wait for this...MVMCP was okay, LOVED the Pirate and Princess Party, and it sounds as if MNSSHP is even better than that....but I probably won't be able to get my picture with Jack Sparrow.....

Sid , although you'd make a very handsome Mr Smee, I have an idea that is much easier. Two years ago when many of us went down for the first TOT race, we went to MNSSHP and dressed up as Mouseketeers. It was so easy and everyone looked great. Jeans or capris, red t shirt with your name ironed on in white and mouse ears. It was comfy and fun.

maybe the fireworks meet could be held around the hub or at the train station?
