We gave Captain Jacks in DD one more try a couple of weeks ago, and it was sooo good! I had the crabcake sandwich on foaccio (sp?) bread. The cole slaw that came with it was delish also.

Hubby got Clam Chowder and it didn't make him feel so good. But, mine was excellent.

If you eaten here, was it a good experience or bad?

We ate at Captain Jack's in December. DH thought crabcakes were excellent and that saying something for a Marylander. I enjoyed soup and a Chicken Ceasar Salad. We plan on return on our next trip.

We like that place but it is so small. Many times we've had to wait and wait and wait. They have great peel 'em and eat 'em shrimp.

Never tried this one yet, but keep telling me more about it. It could be a possibility for our summer trip.

I had a lovely dinner there one night when I was at WDW by myself for a conference. It's especially nice for single diners since there's a dining counter area. I forget what I had, some nice piece of fish, but I remember it as having been well prepared and the service prompt.

We have not been there in years. Perhaps it is time to try it again.

Love Capt Jack's. I have eaten there solo and with family. Our experiences have always been very good. Never had the soup there but shrimp, crab legs, crab cakes and a special one time.

I love sitting at the bar to eat - met the most interesting people there!
