OK...silly question I know, but I am going to go to Target and get us ponchos tonight. If I have the option, I would like to get something different than what the parks have so I can find Jeremy easier when he gets lost. Do they sell just one color or is it a variety?

The WDW ponchos are now clear with a logo on the back. Universal are blue with Woody Woodpecker I think. Seaworld's are also blue I believe. If you have a Dollar Tree near you, I like to get the ones they sell there in a 2 pack. At $0.50 per poncho, no worries if it rips or if you just don't feel like carrying it around after the rain stops.

You might avoid yellow, as many brought their old ones, and in one location they did have a stack of yellow ones still left to sell, everywhere else they were clear.
The clear ones are really cute now. For our next trip we plan to buy cheap ponchos for heavy usage during the trip, but I think we're all gonna buy Mickey ones, too.

Yes - I am so grateful that they changed to clear. The yellow was getting a bit hard to look at - like a sea of lemons or something. :)

SuxyQ, we called them Duck Suits. Lots of yellow Ducks, everywhere! The thing I like about the new clear ponchos is that you can still see what the people are wearing under them. It helps me pick out Cath and Kasey when we are in the parks.

Thanks guys! I will have to look and see if there is a Dollar Tree near me; I would certainly love to spend only .50 cents per poncho!! :D

Glad to hear they have gone to clear. That sea of bright yellow was a bit hard to deal with.

I have to thank you again for the tip Pam! I went to Target last night and as I pulled in to the parking lot, I saw a Dollar Tree. I ended up getting us two packs of two ponchos, so we could throw the first set away if we wanted. We ended up with orange, which I haven't told Jeremy yet. He'll be thrilled. I just don't want to lose him in a crowd and the way he barrels through a crowd, I might lose him!!

I agree about the color yellow. It made it so hard to find someone, especially with the hoods up
With the clear ponchos, you can at least spot shirt colors.
Animal Kingdoms ponchos were tan and the other 3 parks used the yellow......right?

I loved my AK poncho, yes tan with safari Mickey on the back, but alas, don't fold them up damp or mildew sets in...
By the way, if you do get a rip in a poncho hood (they seem thinner than ever) just take it back and get a replacement. We did have the receipt, but they didn't ask to look at it, the fellow just said, that shouldn't have happened, you're not a big guy...and handed over new ones in exchange for the 2 ripped ones! Wish I had known that with the AK ones, would have traded them in last trip!

Took our adult nieces with us last year to Disney. We got caught in the rain at MK. Our nieces bought poncho in the park - they were orange with NO logo on them. Boy were our nieces upset - NO mouse!
Hey there Pockets! Long time, no see!!!
And they are back to the logo'd ponchos now, but clear ones. At least they are at MK and Epcot. We didn't get caught in the rain at AK, so don't know if they are still doing the tan ones there or not.
