I know I am really late on this one -- but "Oh My Goodness" I loved it.

It was the best of the next generation humor, action, cast, and surprises.

If NG, was your Star Trek then this is your movie!

As BetsyAnn fans herself -- Patrick Stewart is still one of the best looking men in movies today! And Captain Picard is still my favorite captain!

It is out on DVD in a store near you!

My husband and I are big Star Trek fans (but not over the top). I didn't like Nemesis nearly as much as the previous 2 Star Treck movies. First Contact is my very favorite with Insurrection being my second favorite. Wrath of Kahn and The Voyage Home are probably tied for third.

I am totally with you on the Patric Stewart thing..he is SO SEXY!!! But Kathrine Janeway is my favorite captain...I am a serious Voyager fan!

It's never too late to talk about Star Trek!!

Gee, Kathi, I wonder why Janeway was your favorite captain... a woman named Kathryn, played by a redhead named Kate... connect the dots!

I'm with you on First Contact being the best of the movies, although I would rate Wrath of Khan as my second fave. Nemesis is a great movie, better in some ways than Insurection, but both of them could have been better with a little tweaking of the plotlines. I can't imagine any way to improve First Contact or Wrath of Khan, which is the test of a great movie.

I hate the idea that Data is dust. Like Geordi once said, "I always thought he would outlive us all... by centuries."

We're serious Star Trek fans in this family! My older son, Vince, is the biggest Trekkie, but I think we all qualify.

First Contact is our favorite movie; after that our favorites lists vary.

I loved Nemesis right up until they killed off Data. Now I never want to see it again! I was so upset; so was Vince. How could they kill off Data?!

Kathi, our family is split on Voyager. Chuck (my DH) doesn't like it at all, I really don't either. Vince likes it pretty well, and so does my younger son, Patrick.

What do you think of Enterprise? We all really like it a lot.

Sandi - thanks for the picture! lol

Kathi - Insurrection was my least favorite of the NG films - and Janeway was a good captain, great fun!

Will & Kaycee -- I learned long ago that dying - is never a final thing with Star Trek  -- and for me - Data choosing to laydown his life for Picard and Crew could have not been any more human - "The needs of the many out way the needs of the few or the one" Star Trek writing and character development at its best! :) It does not mean I was not crying - I am such a whimp! LOL

Thanks!

Oh boy..other Star Trek fans who also love Disney...very cool!!

Will - Janeway is not my favorite captain because her name is Kathryn and she has red hair (although it probably doesn't hurt). She was so strong and didn't take any crap. She also had to "remake" the rules in the Delta Quadrant and I think she did a great job of pulling everyone together during very rough times (well the script writer did). Seven of Nine was actually my favorite character (and I am girl, so it didn't have anything to do with her costume).

BetsyAnn - A lot of people were not happy with Insurrection. It was a very different type of movie from the other Star Trek films and I can see why some people wouldn't like it. But I really enjoyed it. We have both First Contact and Inssurection on DVD and we watch them both fairly often.

Kaycee - I knew that Data was going to die going in Nemesis (because Brent Spiner wanted out of the series) so that was no surprise. He is my favorite character from TNG so it was tough to see him go and I did cry...but like BetsyAnn said, being dead is never a sure thing with Star Trek! I'm really hoping the next movie has the Voyager crew in it!

We enjoy Enterprise very much. Some of the episodes are a bit dull, and the characters still probably need another year before they know who they "are". I really enjoy the relationship beteween Archer, Tripp and T'Pol. Oh and the beagle is great..can't forget Porthos!
