Thanks for the warm welcome. Disney is my favorite subject. We (my sister and I) have been visiting The World since it opened in '71 (I'm dating myself :lol: ). We started taking my daughter when she turned 5 and have been taking her ever since (she'll be 12 in Sept).
We love Disney and "go home" at least 5 times a year (thank goodness we live so close). Most of our trips are just for the weekend (check in early Saturday morning/check out Sunday) but that's long enough to get a Disney fix.

T-Bell, Oh I wish I lived so close. I live 8.5 hours away and still have made just a weekend trip several times.

At what age did your daughter start liking Blizzard Beach? We have only done Typhoon Lagoon-my daughter just turned 8 but isn't overly adventurous.

We didn't start going to the water parks until last July (my daughter was 10 at the time). We started with Typhoon Lagoon and then in September, we went to Blizzard Beach.
I understand what you're going through with your 8 year old. I took my daughter to The World for the first time when she was 5. On that trip she conquered all the MK mountains (except Space Mountain because the line was too long). On the next trip, she wouldn't even go near them. It's been a slow process getting her back on them. BTM was frist, followed by Space Mountain, and this past weekend she finally got back on Splash Mountain.
Now I know we'll be running back and forth from Tomorrowland to Frontierland.
