Well, sort of according to this report.
I have to say I'm absolutely bored with the MK's daytime parade. And I have been for years. I often refer to them as 'Princesses on Parade', since it seems the bulk of the floats are often dedicated to just parading the princesses by, with little imagination in the float itself.
I can't remember what was before the snowglobes, which tells me how memorable it was. Now ask me about DL's old Lion King Parade (floats were modified for the FoTLK) or Mickey Mania which was...different. DL's 50's parade was wonderful with original floats dedicated to a variety of Disney films.
In recent years we had the snowglobe parade. Then virtually the same parade without the globes. Is anyone else tired of the acrylic castle spires float that seems to have been in the end float for the last 3 parades, carrying the remaining characters that didn't fit elsewhere in the parade?
Now the rumor is the new parade, will be a revamp of the old parade, which as previously mentioned, was a revamp of the parade before. Oh joy.
This is why people love parades like those done during the MNSSHP. They have so much imagination in them! Unlike the Christmas parade, half of the floats aren't the same old floats with some garland slapped on them.
Here's the story at the Sentinel (http://blogs.orlandosentinel.com/features_orlando/2009/01/time-running-ou.html#more).
Adding Snow White's prince to her float isn't what I would call 'new'. Hasn't princesses riding or dancing with the princes been done?
