If you are a bottled water drinker while in the World - and a Costco member - here is a recommendation. When I go to WDW (I live in Jacksonville, so I drive) I stop at Costco (there are 3 in Orlando) and pick up a case of bottled waer. I get the 24-oz bottles (same size as in the world) - 28 bottles in the case for less than $7.00. This means I get my individual bottles for $0.25!!! This is a major savings!!! We place the bottled water in a cooler in the room and take 2 bottles per person per day with us to the parks. This is a $5.00 per person per day savings as compared to WDW prices AND you stay HYDRATED - with is a major happy factor for me in the heat and humidity of central Florida.
The membership (regular) cost for Costco is $45.00 a month -- and I get most of my papergoods there (and I am single - so I only have to buy 30 rolls of TP every 3-4 months!). Some of the Costco's also sell gas - at usually a $0.10 savings per gallon.
My membership paid for itself in 1.5 months.

Super hint, DRDolphin! What a great idea - I had no clue that there was a costco nearby.
BTW: I believe that the Costco membership fee is $45/year, not per month (we might scare some people away from Costco). ;)
I'm a huge water drinker, so that will save me a bundle!

We carry the Brita Fill-n-go bottles with us and refill from the water fountains in the parks. The charcoal filter cleans the water and the refills are free! That way we only carry around a single bottle, and can refill it from a cold fountain as needed. Of note, I drink about 3 bottles a day in the parks, but that is me.
Just how we manage the hydration thing.

Suzy you are right - $45/YEAR - not month.
I tried the Brita bottle and discovered I dislike the taste of the water..... maybe I am strange - but I love my bottled water and just drink it from the bottle (and the store)
It could be that because I use the Brita bottles at home too, especially at the base I work on, I don't notice the taste. If bottles work, that is great!

I use the Brita bottles, too. I think the water from them tastes like Deer Park or some other good quality spring waters. And I am used to drinking it at room temp; as long as it's not hot, I can handle lukewarm.
If the temperature of the water is a problem, however, you can ask for a free cup of ice from any restaurant, cart, or counter-service place that has it. Just pour ice into your Brita bottle, fill it with water from any source, and bingo! Instant cold water.
You can also fill it with fresh ice from your resort ice machine in the morning. Some people like to freeze water bottles overnight, but if you do this with a Brita bottle, be sure to take the filter off - do not freeze the filter.

In case anyone needs directions to the closest Costco to WDw. It is located on Orange Blossom Trail. aka SOBT.
It is 3 miles south of the Florida Mall (which is at the corner of Sand Lake and OBT)
From Disney, take the 417 North. Exit at OBT. Turn left on OBT. Costco will be on the left side of the road just before you get to Central Florida Parkway.
For those of you that do not have a membership to Costco, there is a SuperTarget at the OBT exit off of 417 as well. Just turn right and it is right there. They also sell bottled water at a great low price!
