Good Morning Healthinators!!
I am a foodoholic I like to eat I seem to have no control over myself. Has anyone here found the stop button? I can go most of a day doing really well then whack!! I grab a bowl of cereal or something to munch on!!
Today I have a half day of school (until noon) as a PE teacher (that will be a stretch  ) . I think it's really a health class- but am wearing PE clothes anyway cause that's what the call said. (I know the teacher wears PE clothes for Health so I'm probably ok). Then at 2 I pick Bethany up for her last ortho appointment before brace removal day! After ortho I think I'll take her out to dinner and drop her at the HS for the first night of the musical.
Goals for today:
Curves or run
don't get sidetracked on the not eating snacks (easier when I'm not home- I guess I'm cheap)
Water (did good on this yeaterday)
eat smart!
behave myself!!
Make it a Magical Day Healthinators!!

Good morning everyone!
Another brief post for me this morning and then I'm off and running again. I have this working interview this morning at 9:00 that will probably last until 11:00 or so. Then I have to drop some things off at the MH classroom where I subbed. When I finally get that done, I want to drop some chocolate chip cookies off to my dad at work. Today is his birthday :birthday: and I want him to have something special on his day. We are actually having his party on Sunday. I need to time everything so I don't get there when he is out to lunch.
Goals for today:
1. Impress on my interview.
2. Get cookies and thank yous delivered.
3. Water.
4. Control my hormonal eating.
5. Clean my bathroom.
I got most of my goals accomplished yesterday...I would like to do the same today. Hope everyone has a fantastic day!!

Bookwood,
I am a foodaholic too, unfortunately! All I had to snack on last night was low carb cereal though, so it wasn't too bad.
JennyAnne,
Good luck on that interview! I'm sure you will do great. Please post an update when you have a chance. I hope your dad has a great birthday-you are so sweet.
I actually have something to brag about-I finally accomplished a goal, lol. I actually got in my 64 oz. of water yesterday.
My goals for today are:
1. Drink water (64 oz.)
2. Eat healthy-no silly snacks.
3. Get airline tickets (long story-they are giving me hassles about my credit)
4. Buy dance tights for my daughter's recital that don't cut her circulation off.
5. Do something productive tonight around the house even if it is just for 10-15 minutes. At least that will be a start.
Have a great day everyone!
5.

Good Morning everyone!! It is a gorgeous sunny day and we are supposed to hit the 80's FINALLY! YAHOOOOO!!
Went out shopping last night and am totally disgusted. I cannot find a bathing suit. I need the top at least two sizes bigger than the bottom, am wish so bad I could just schedule the breast reduction and get it done. Any suggestions where I can look for a swimsuit. I cannot buy online as I really have to try it on. I am disgusted, and trying hard to not let it discourage me.
Esmerelda...Awesome job on teh water!!
Todays goals
drink water
make healthy choices
walk
smile, its Thursday!
Hope you all have a great day! :circle:

Good Busy Morning!
Last night must have had some type of jinx on it. After a great mornoing and afternoon time slip away so no dinner. When I finished coaching last night I was starved but to tired to cook. The "Wheat Thins" called to me again and I asnwered. Now I'm sorry I did. I needed an intervention. But this is a new day and I'll try again to stay on track. I am managing to drink at least 60 oz of water a day but shooting for 86 or more. I am encoruaged by everyone's success lately and know I'll manage to keep on track.
Todays Goals:
Drink 86 oz of water
Eat healthy on SBD
Have a magical day everyone!

Today promises to be a better day. So far no binge eating today, and for me that is a major accomplishment. So happy to see so many of you meeting your goals. It is inspiring.
Easy gaols today.

That title should be "One Bite At A Time Thursday".
Hi BABES:
Glad to see we are all in the same boat. I have been pretty good only because I've been too busy to stuff my face all day.
Bookwood: You asked if anyone had a STOP button. Well, the only thing that works for me is to either have my hands tied behind my back to stop from eating or keeping my hands totally busy 24/7 so I can't grab the nearest piece of food. Some days you have to be REALLY resourceful in finding ways not to eat. How about pictures of your face on a REALLY ugly, heavy woman plastered all over the walls/refrigerator etc????
Yesterday I didn't get in as I started to pack for BaltiMouse meet and we had running to do all over town. Today I forced DH up and made him go to the gym with me so that was a GOOD thing! Then we had to buy FIL his own refrigerator for his room at assisted living and pay for it with money we don't have and as we pulled up and carried the thing up the stairs, FIL's first words were, "It's a little small don't you think?". No, "thank you", or "it was nice of you" etc. Then before we left he gave DH instructions on how to cut out a piece of wood so the refrigerator can fit on the table better and how he'll TELL the Maintenance men to build a bench to put the refrigerator on etc. Next he'll be giving us a shopping list to fill up the refrigerator.
Anyhow, I have my directions ready for Baltimore and confirmation numbers for hotel and some clothes ready. I'm bringing warm clothes and cold clothes and rainy clothes etc. just in case.
Finished children's sermonette and certificates for them to give out to all ladies who acted as their "mother's" during the year. I want them to hand them out in church to women who helped them in some way with Sunday School or homework or giving them rides or taking them shopping etc. That was my latest church project.
So far, not enough WATER today but I'm trying. Got my blood pressure down to an average of 134/78 so that's another GOOD thing!!
I will TRY to be good this weekend and know we have a lot of walking to do so that should help also.
I'll try to get in tomorrow to post and will post again on Sunday night or Monday. Behave yourselves while I'm gone girls!!! Stay away from the sweets!!!!!

I hope you are using his Social Security money to reimburse yourselves for his fridge. tell him you will be very happy to buy him anything he wants/needs with HIS money. he will only continue to be more demanding if he knows he can. BOUNDARIES, Claire. The book by Dr henry Cloud and Dr Peter Townsend can save your life and your relationship with hubby and Pop. :walk: You and hubby can do this..........TOGETHER.

:tink: Afternoon fellow Healthinators1! DH has been home yesterday & today & we're trying to get unpacked & it's definitely an uphill battle. :stairway: I'm so exhausted, I just want to sleep & my back is killing me! We did laundry today & it's really odd to use a communal laundry room when you're used to having it in your own home. We did play hookie yesterday afternoon & evening & I'll probably post that in persoanl stuff tomorrow before I get back to resumes. It was a great day & a hoot!
Sheryl, that can be extremely painful, what you're going through & I never had a patient that was disappointed having had the surgery.
Today I'm doing fine w/myh2o & my eating. Will continue to do the same.
Bookwood, I used to not be able to stop eating, but since it started effecting me in such a negative way, as in running to the bathroom & praying  I would make it, changed my entire outlook on food. I had to stop eating anything except (non-creamy), soup & saltines initially & very slowly introduce foods over a now 5 month period of time. Now, when I'm full, I stop. Period. Today for lunch, I had a large salad w/the leftover blackened salmon that I couldn't finish for dinner Tuesday night. That will be my main meal for today. I usually can only eat half of an entree now. Used to be able to eat it all. Never needed a doggie bag. Today at lunch, DH ate the other half of my meal I had in Santa Monica yesterday. I simply cannot eat the same amount of portions that I used to. Good luck w/that as it's tough. Everything comes supersized & we just eat! :tink:
