I am looking to add some font cartridges to my collection and wondered what the favorite multi-purpose fonts are of the group?

I already have Plantin and Mickey fonts. Thanks!

If you are looking for fonts you may want to think about getting the program Sure Cuts a Lot. That lets you hook your Cricut up to a computer and cut any TTF font!

If you just like the cartridges I love the Storybook font one!

Okay tell me more about this program :D you mention. Hmm! Interesting as I LOVE fonts and have so many that I use to print but cutting would be FUN!

Sure Cuts A Lot (http://www.craftedge.com/)

I don't own it but I know a lot of people who swear by it!

First, you have to have design studio, to download the firmware to the Cricut. Then you buy SCAL. Of course, the Cricut people aren't happy that this aftermarket program lets you use any truetype font, so they continually upgrade design studio to block it. Then SCAL upgrades, and so forth. The manufacturer of cricut says if you use scal it voids the warrenty. People obviously do it anyway. http://www.craftedge.com/

Nikki, I like Opposites Attract because it has both a script and a block font with lots of options. And hoping to receive Storybook for Christmas. Also borrow George occasionally, and like the Plantin schoolbook, which came with my expression. Discovered I don't have the patience to deal with the 'fine' fonts like Jasmine.

I like Opposites Attract.

And I've found I really like the font in Zoo Balloo - I use it without the animals.

I also don't like to work with the thin letters on the Stamped cart. They are cool, though, in blackout or shadow. I just got Stone Script and don't know if I like it all that much, although I did use it on one page and it looks okay.

I use Cursive a fair amount. I still like George too even though it's the one that came with my original Cricut. I also vote for Opposites Attract - I have used that quite a bit and LOVE it.

For the record. My Wife laughs at me because I like watching the infomercial on Cricut.

Where do I see the commercial? It is strange, some of the local Spokane stations play infomercial hours in the middle of the day.
