Mid day breaks at Universal Studios/IOA

We have a pretty full day planned at Universal Studios/IOA and am not assured of being able to check in our room at 3:00. My daughter gets very overstimulated very easily, and also has mild CP and gets tired at times. Any suggestions for a somewhat quiet place to take a break?

What is Woody Woodpecker's play area like? Is it very physically demanding?

When we stayed at universal and changed from the Hard Rock to Royal Pacific our room was ready and we check in at 9:30 in the morning. You can also go back and use the pool. The day we checked out they told us that if fwe wanted to use the pool area we could go into the excersise room and use the showeres and changing area in there. There is also a sandy beach area at the Royal Pacific with chairs. You can't go in the water but you play on the beach area. We didn't hit woody woodpecker area so I can't tellya about that.
