I am curious about if they have anything similar to a guest assistance pass. We get one at WDW, although try not to use it often. We are staying at HRH so we will have front of the line access, so I expect that will make touring easy but I am still curious.

Susan,
I'm sorry I don't know the answer to your question. So far all my research has turned up is that the Universal Guest Services windows are all supposed to have printed guides for guests with physical challenges.
You might try asking on the Universal board over at the DIS?

In 1998 my husbands Muscular Dystropphy was acting up and so he had to use his cane that day. While we was in line for a ride a cast member pulled us out and told us about alternative entrances to rides. We did it the rest of the day and except for ET ride it worked out ok. The ET ride person told us we needed a pass from the front of the park guest relatins to get in the alternative way. I asked them if I could go get it for my husband because walking to the front and back was out of the question for him. They said he would probably have to go so needless to say we didnt ride it that year.
On my trip last year we have developed a touring strategy that makes it so he doent need for us to be made out in a special light plus we had head of the line previledges so we never checked it out. I would assume it is still avaliable though. I know standing in line is perhaps the hardest thing for some. Wiht head of the line priveleges you may have just as fast though. I rmemerb we went in a lot of back entrances for most rides. If you think of it you may want to get one just in case. There are a few kids areas that front of the line doesnt work so at least you would be covered in case you need it.

Thanks for the info!
The reason we are staying at HRH is for the front of the line privileges, so I don't think we will need one. The hateful looks we get make it almost not worth it. Our last trip to WDW we used it only when absolutely necessary(I think about 5 or 6 times in 5 days), but those times when we really, really did need it would have been impossible without it.
