Not the theme of the new Epcot attraction (I don't think...) but the reality of just how big the new Epcot Soaring building is behind Canada! They DEFINITELY need to fix the sitelines!

Dang, Tag! I read about that, but seeing the picture really brings home how bad it is. They better start building some pretty big rock facades or something.

Wow that is so ugly now. I always thought the Canada Pavilon was one of the prettiest so hopefully they will do something about it.

The building is huge at Disney's California Adventure but they had it planned for from the beginning.
Alicia - I hope the rumor you found about them adding something in Canada to help hide that! :)

Wow That is one big building. Canada used to look large but it looks so small next to that. I can't wait for the new attraction but it is great that a booboo may lead to something new in World Showcase.

Whoa!
Unless somebody comes up with a mondo-sized invisibility cloak for one side of that building, it's going to take some major work to fix this weird juxtaposition. Thanks for the photo, Dave. As Alicia wrote, I'd read reports of this but the photo has much greater impact.

That does stick out!! I hope they do do something to hide that. It is amazing as was previously pointed out how small it makes the Canadian Pavilion look! (They better fix it up, my son is planning on working there when he turns 18 in 3 years).

I heard last week that the attraction will be "Soarin' over America" or something like that. This is from Dave Smith.

THE Dave Smith?? Wow!!!
Wow. I hope Mikey Ei$ner is willing to shell out the bucks needed to fix that. The picture is...well, disturbing I guess is the best word. I can't imagine what it looks like in person  !!

Well, I guess if you are standing in Canada, perhaps you can't see it - but I can't imagine that it will let much light shine over into Canada when the sun is over there.
Oh well, perhaps they can make the great Canadian Rockies as a backdrop! ;)

how gosh darn UGLY, really messed up this time didn't ya Disney ???

That ugly site line is what sparked the rumor about them making a "Mountain" ride in Canada:
Screamscape is reporting that there may be a water ride in store for the Canadian Pavillion. It seems that the Soarin building will be so tall that it will be seen in World Showcase. The water ride will be a mountain so it will block the building. Personally I really like that idea. Also ther is talk about changing the overall theme to Brother Bear.

Hi and Welcome KingLouis'Friend! :bounce: Long time no 'see'! :)
I've heard that rumor too. There is a great article on Jim Hill's website that goes into a lot of 'could bes' ! :) And it sounds pretty good!
WDI has a solution to Epcot's "Soarin'" problem (http://jimhillmedia.com/articles/04142004.1.htm)
