What sites do you host your web galleries on? Do you prefer Flickr? Photobucket? Picasa? Or is their something else you would recommend? Do you think a paid site like Flickr Pro might be better? I am looking to create an online gallery with multiple albums for my art work, photos, designs, etc. I'm also planning to do Project 365 in January so I'll need a place to post and album for that.
I'm looked at Flicker and so far I'm not crazy about it...but that could be I haven't played with it enough.
Any suggestions you have I would greatly appreciate. There are just so many sites out there and I just don't know what is the best.
TIA!

I have my photos on photobucket because I like how they look there in all three views (main/grid/slideshow). I hate that I cannot easily reorder them. They appear in the order uploaded, or in reverse. I also have my photos on kodakgallery as this is where I buy my prints (or other photo products) when I want them and rearranging is a cinch here (in case I forget a photo in my Project 365). They both offer bulk uploaders. I don't like flickr much but I tried it out only briefly. I'm not sure why I abandoned it.....thinking I just wasn't impressed with the appearance of the photos/slideshows.

That's the reason I'm not so fond of Flickr. The navigation is not to my liking. I have the same issue with Picasa. Someone suggested pbase but I haven't tried it out yet.

I've been using Shutterfly because I can order my prints and pick them up at Target. Otherwise it seems easy to use.

I'm on flickr, snapfish, & Kodak. The most convenient one for prints is probably snapfish as I can pick-up prints at the local Walgreen. I like flickr for the various groups of which one can be a member. I'm a member of Disney's Adventurers Club, Focus on Disney World, 4 The Love of Boxers, Boxer Puppies (big & little) and Anything Photos with the Canon Powershot S3 IS.

I use PBase for the bulk of my online photo sharing. (The links in my signature will take you to a couple of my PBase galleries.) I like the simplicity and flexibility of the site, but I can't recommend it unless you have a lot of patience. Their customer service is severely lacking, and every so often the site becomes sluggish or non-responsive for weeks at a time, with very little word from support as to what is wrong and when it might be fixed.
I also have a basic Flickr account. (I haven't upgraded to Pro yet, out of sheer laziness.) I didn't like the layout at first, but over time I have gotten used to it. I really like Flickr's Groups support - it's a fun way to meet photographers with common interests, and share photos and thoughts among these mini-online communities.

Oh my goodness!! Photobucket.com has added organizing! Yeah!! I have NO complaints about it now. I can easily reorder my uploads. I am so happy about this!! :minnie:

I am on flickr too - it's very fun for the social aspect of it. I also recently got a Smugmug account so that maybe I can sell some of my photos. :xfingers:

I am in the minority here, but I don't use any online galleries any more. I upload my pics to my own web site, where I have plenty of space, and create simple web pages to display them. This approach also allows me to link to my pics and post thumbnails in message board posts.
It's more work this way, but I like the fact that I have total control over my images and enough flexibility to share or not share them as I please.

I'm on flickr, but I have mine set to "friends and family" that I email directly. The general public can't see it.

Thanks for all the replies. I'm trying out Pbase right now to see if it'll do what I want.
Gallery software is my next stop.
