Yes, and I quite enjoyed the lack of crowds. It was amazing, magical, wonderful- I wish it was always so quiet around there, being selfish of course!

I agree! Up here in Canada we can't get the Disney visa, and we just decided to do a quick trip again in two weeks. We just got back from free dining 3 weeks ago but I could do it again for a few days!!

To get the free dining, do you have to pay rack rates?
Just curious since we only stay at the MK resorts.

Yes, you do pay rack rates plus the minimum of a 1 day base ticket per person.

Actually I booked 2 rooms at Pop Century last night with the free dining package for Dec. 19-25 with 5-day park hoppers and the room was also discounted 20%. It was definitely a great deal! Unfortunately I can't go then since DH is a pastor and Christmas and Christmas Eve aren't exactly good times to be away :(.
I booked the rooms for my mother-in-law, sister-in-law and her 2 kids for their "once in a lifetime Disney trip." They have been trying to go for the past 10 years and after she has survived breast cancer, a messy divorce, and the death of her second husband, my SIL definitely deserves a trip to Disney. It was such a great feeling being able to book the trip for them and help make this happen.
Don't know whether all of the resorts have this discount but the values did which was too good to pass up.
