18 months isn't a rehab imho, that's a complete rebuild. To answer your question I haven't heard anything.

I've been hearing that rumor a lot. If they are going to do what they did to the Disneyland one, I say close it tomorrow ;)

I remember it being discussed, with talk that SM would be upgraded to the Hong Kong version, just as DL was. I haven't heard anything about a firm date.

I don't know where the thread is but JustZac is a CM in Tomorrowland. He said that the plans to rehab SM included changes to the TTA track. However, current regulations require that any attraction being altered has to become handicap accesable during the rehab. So the plans were scrapped since they didn't want to have to change the loading/unloading area of TTA. I don't know if the plans to rehab were cancelled entirely or if they are redesigning it.
I don't know what the changes were made in the other parks mentioned. I did get to ride it at Disnelyland Paris though. The begining of SM in DP is similar to the beg. of RNR at DHS.
