Has anyone ever eaten at Artist Point at the Wilderness Lodge? If you have, would you eat there again? Was it worth the money? It will be just me and hubby and I'm thinking this might be a good dinner option.

On our Dec. 2002 trip, I picked Artist Point for my birthday dinner. Alikat and I really enjoyed the cedar plank salmon. The presentation was unique and it tasted wonderful. Being the carboholic that I am, I highly recommend the berry cobbler for dessert (which they served gratis as sneaky Ali had told the waitress it was my bday) It is huge and the fresh berries are enormous. We went specifically for the salmon, and split the meal as we normally do. They plated the salmon at the table and split the rest of the dinner in the kitchen, thereby not making us feel like the cheapies that we are! But seriously we HAVE to try desserts, and if we both order dinners we just don't have room. It was quiet and very relaxing and the service was very attentive. We had a great experience and a delicious dinner.

Well, we didn't try Artist Point, but we did eat at Whispering Canyon on the "backporch" as I called it. It was not quite as noisy out there. Ken had chicken and I had a grilled chicken pasta. YUMMY! We also had an apple pie that I swear was 10 inches thick. It was also fabulous.
