Florida DOT has put in place closures on I-95 south at 295 in south Jacksonville - they are completely rebuilding the intersection of these two interstates and may cause delays to anyone driving down 95 to WDW.
Also - Watch your speed in the reduce speed zones -- Florida doubles fines if any workers are present in the construction zone.

They will have portions of the interchange closed for the next two years (through Spring 2006), thus they will have portions of closed in December when you come through town. The Adams Mark is on the north bank of the river downtown. If you take I-295 You have to backtrack up 95 from downtown, get on 295 drive more than 25 extra miles -- if you are staying at the Adams mark downtown you are more than half way through town? Why waste the extra time to backtrack up to 295? Just head south on 95.
