I am flying US Airways for the first time and saw that you can confirm your flight on-line and print out your boarding passes on your printer 24 hours before your flight.

Has anyone tried this? I have my flight confirmation but do not have seats assigned yet. My travel agent said that there is a good chance that the three of us (me, DD, and DH) may not get to sit together since its a full plane and we booked in when there were just single seats showing on her computer. I sincerely hope they don't make a 6 year old sit by herself but also don't want to take the chance. Figure if I got a jump on getting my boarding pass we may get seats together! But afraid to try it if glitches come up....

Thanks!

I printed my boarding passes last December, and it worked great. I can't remember about seats though... Ours were already assigned, but they would HAVE to assign them to you to print the pass, wouldn't they? That would mean that the seats they hold back JUST for the purpose you have fallen into should be available.

Worst case, if your seats aren't together, just talk to the stewardess and they will ask for volunteers to switch seats. If someone doesn't WANT to move, just casually say to your daughter that you hope she doesn't get so airsick THIS trip!

Oh - and you CAN cut the tickets out if you like. I didn't (left them full page prints), and the guy at the counter had to rip them. Would have been easier if I had just cut them to a more standard ticket size at home.
