View Full Version : New Cars Meet & Greet

Rumor has it that Al's Toy Barn will be coming down to make way for a M&G for Towmater & Lighting McQueen. The building will be modeled after Luigi's Casa Della Tires 'garage' from the movie. The cars will be in the building and the front garage door will open up so you can go in. I am glad the 'cars' will have a permanent home! For now anyway!:lol:

Me too. Having 5 Grandsons I am thrilled to see something for boys. The Princesses are great for the girls, but they have been a little short on things to interest boys IMHO. :)

Luigi's sounds like a good fit near Mama Melrose and the 'warehouse' look of that area.

It seems to me they are trying to get more meet and greets out of the hot sun. If the cars are inside the 'garage' I wonder if they'll make them more animated?

Sounds nice but we will miss Woody and Buzz. Hope they are still around somewhere.

My kids probably like Cars better!

I agree with Lou-Ann. The princess thing (although great for the girls) has been done to the max. Having 2 boys - I'd be happy to see some more "stuff" for them. My guys won't even go eat at the castle anymore because they have decided it's all about Cinderella and they don't care for Prince Charming - :lol:

That sounds like a great idea to me. We visited that area recently, and it seemed like a lot of wasted space. We had a fun time taking pictures there, but I think a Cars Meet & Greet would make much better use of the space. I love Buzz & Woody, but Lightning McQueen and Tow~mater are too cute! A year ago we did see them both doing a meet and greet but it was in a different spot. They sure drew a crowd.
