Posting pics..

Hey Tag, I am in the mood to scan some pics today :lol: I wanna put them in the photo gallery. What do I have to do? Do I need my own site or somthing, or do I email em' to ya?

you can upload pictures directly to the photogallery from your home computer after you have scanned them.

Give it a try, and let me know if you run into trouble.

What do you think I am, some kind of computer wizard??;-) I dont know how to do that stuff. I purposely bought a scanner that has a button right on it to scan to emails. I just put in the picture, hit that button and the next thing you know, there is an email page waiting for an address on it. I just type in the addy and hit send. There is no "upload" button on it:-( Heck, I have never even HEARD of an UPload, only a DOWNload. I am thinking that an upload is harder though;-)

Some admin you turned out to be!!!! :mrgreen:

Scan the file to your hard drive instead of an email.
Go to the photo gallery and go into the desired section of pictures.
From the menu in the top right corner select Upload picture
In the popup window click on the browse button, and go to where you saved the picture
and start the upload...

I don't have exact instructions, but everyone that uses it says how easy it is... If you still can't figure it out, I can try to help more this weekend.

SEEMS easy enough, but I am sure I will screw it up. LOL Thanks for the help buddy:-) If you see some pics in there, then you know I figured it out:-). If you dont see me online the next few weeks, you know I couldnt and smashed my computer:-)

Ok, I tried it, but it says it cant handle the file. Then a little 'dismiss' button come up. For some reason, when I scan stuff, it comes up as a huge picture. I guess thats why? Help!!

Seriously, though, Dennis, you should get yourself a book on digital photography or scanning or photo manipulation. With Masen around, I'm sure you've already got thousands of photos filling up albums and shoe boxes and WalMart bags that you'd love to scan and catalog.

Plus, you can learn how to make cool-looking graphics like this:

Well DenDen, guess Masen isn't using any of the gifts we sent him when we had the online "baby shower" for Jenine.

Boy has he grown! He's adorable - guess he takes after "mom"!

LOL Claire :lol: Yeah, he is out of that stuff now. BUT, he looks a lot bigger in THAT picture than he really is. He is only 22lbs. soaking wet. He is still a little shrimp. You should see him at school, the other kids just tower him. The teachers say that he is a little bully though. :twisted: I dont know who taught him to head butt ;-)

BTW- I DO have some great pics around here somewhere of him in the gift cloths. :lol:
They were all so cute!! YOu will get to meet Masen at Baltimouse. OF course, he is going through this shy stage now(he never used to be like that), so hopefully he will warm up to everyone quickly!!
