It's a Small World Being Rehabbed

It is rumored that It’s A Small World will close later this year for a multi-million dollar rehab. The ride will end up with all new boats, new lighting and audio. They may swap the current Exit and Entrance ramps to improve the flow of traffic and ease some of the congestion between It's a Small World and the Peter Pan ride. There is also talk of turning the old Fantasyland Skyway building into a new stroller parking area. The rumored dates for this extensive rehab were June 7th, 2004 until March 18th, 2005. Disney has not confirmed those dates yet.

Please tell me it isnt so. Im taking my grandaughter and this will be her most favorite next to Dumbo ride. I sure hope they wait until after SUmmer to take it down. Im going in August.
