I've been researching where to get the most bang for my buck using my Quick and Casual coupons. I think I've decided on Beaches and Creme. Now my question is this: What does a single serving drink constitute? Can you only get soda or water? Or can you get a smoothie? Or is the smoothie counted as a dessert?

I don't know if there's a different policy for Quick and Casual, but when I've done the Magical Wishes thing it was anything that you could drink other than alcohol. I know Bernard had a milkshake on the plan at Beaches and Cream.

Now...how about a Lime (Green) Rickey?

That's what I'm hoping that it is anything other than alcohol!

Maybe they should change that to a LimeGreenCheri

The first time we went to B&C we were allowed to get a milkshake as the drink and also a dessert. The secind time, the waiter said if we got a milkshake , it would count as the dessert. We got soda and a great brownie sundae..yum. If depends on how the waiter interprests the Q&C viucher. They all know about them, but there is some variation as to how they interpret them. Found the same as to what is a "side" dish, Once they told my husband he could get chili as a side with his sandwich that also can with fries; next titme they said the fries were the side.

Great question Cheri - I want to know too! :winking:

So, I'm thinking ASK if we can get a milkshake, and take the soda if we have too! ;)

Kneel, Cheri! As Queen of Wretched Calorie Consumption, I dub thee Lady Milkshaky! {taps Cheri on each shoulder with a parfait spoon} Go forth and find the Holy Grail of Bargains at Beaches and Cream! See if you can get a double cheeseburger with chocolate shake, a side of fries and chili, and a brownie sundae for dessert! :eat:

After our Feb. trip to WDW using Q&C here's what we found:
B&C: did NOT allow for milkshake to be used as beverage... tried on 2 occasions... only coffee, sodas, iced teas (you get the idea... thin drinks). If we wanted a shake would count as dessert. Double cheese w/bacon.. no problem, fries w/onion rings.. no problem.. even had a server give the kids 2 separate drinks (thanks Darlene) instead of 2 straws (even though they barely drank it.. think Libby eventually spilled it) NO problem... extra spoons (esp. since it was a "impulse snack" at 9:30PM) and it was getting crowded. Went back during the daytime and it was different.. server wasn't as "helpful".. esp. when ordering a kiddie meal for Libby.. got all the wrong info... oh well.
If you have a car another GREAT place to go for use of coupons...
Pepper Market at CSR... excellent value for what they charge...
grilled steak or prime rib dinner (w/baked potatoe and grilled veggies) HUGE $18 ish
for Drink you CAN get a smoothie or I got a cappucino (we had mugs w/us) $3.99 each or you could get a large juise container for the AM to go
for Dessert they had excellent cakes.. and got that to go... yummy
better value since most things were easily enough for 2 hungry adults and everything was made fresh..
Have fun planning. We got vouchers our vouchers from hotwire. Came within 3 days after placing order via airbone letter express. Didn't have to sign for it though.

Thanks for the great advice Owl. My family would like the prime rib I'm sure. I like the idea of desert to go!

for our Q&C Beaches and Cream, we get a double cheeseburger ,fries, water and a coke and finish it with a No Way Jose' for dessert, split between the 2 of us, that is all we want or NEED !

Brer, what we NEED has nothing to do with eating at WDW. I started working off our trip this morning (geez I love the gym at 4:30 in the morning :treadmill: ) Oh well, it was worth every calorie!

With Beaches and Cream they will also cut the burger and serve it on 2 plates... Mike and the 2 kids had plenty..(though we didn't do dual plates.. saw this at another table).
At Pepper Market there are SO MANY options to choose from ..
Mike had a grilled tuna steak (huge) for his entree in addition to rice (could have had baked or ff potatoes) and grilled veggies.

the servers are great about bringing the entree on 2 plates and they usually will bring extra fries ( if that is what you ordered) !:)
