Okay guys: We've been to character meals at Donald's Restaurantasaurus and the Liberty Tree Tavern and Garden Grille (and Artist Point when they still had character breakfasts). Loved all of them. I had to cancel the breakfast at Chef Mickey's last Dec. due to DH refusing to get up "in the middle of the night" (his words) in order to make an early breakfast.
Should I go to Chef Mickey's for breakfast or try another character meal somewhere else??? I plan to go to one next December for dinner the night we go to MVMCP. Should we go to LTT again or try another? And which one should be try instead?

Claire,
I would definitely try Chef Mickey's for breakfast. It's definitely good food and lots of fun! Also, have you tried O'Hana's? It took me a few trips before we tried it, but I have to admit I really love it there. We had a table right by the window with a wonderful view of the lagoon and Cinderella's Castle. Just breathtakingly beautiful!

We always do Chef Mickey's on the first night we are there. It's a family tradition that gets us into the Disney mood right off. We have never been there for breakfast, but our cousin says it is really good. We have done 'Ohana for breakfast, and it was wonderful. It is a family style service, so you are not always getting up to get food, they bring it to you! The characters are great and the Poly atmosphere helps them put a whole different slant to the meal.
We ate at LTT last week when we were there and, as always, had a super meal. I was really glad to see that Meeko was back in the character rotation. They had pulled him out for a while. So we had Chip, Dale, Minnie, Pluto and Goofy for the characters. And a really good meal to boot.

:eat: :eat: :eat: If you have not done the Crystal Palace or Chef Mickey's I would consider both a must do. Why not try Chef Mickey's for a breakfast and crystal Palace on an evening when you are doing the Christmas Party? That would work well.

On my last trip, I did Chef Mickey's for dinner and the Crystal Palace for breakfast. Chef Mickey's was good but I would HIGHLY recommend CP for breakfast! The food was awesome and the Winnie the Pooh characters were really fun. And if you go in the morning, you get to see Piglet! He's only there for breakfast. :D

I think I would head to Crystal Palace for Brekkie & Chef Mickey's for Din-Din! In fact I think We might just do that! I feel the need to see ALL the Pooh Characters! Does Tigger come to Breakfast too. I know When we went in 97 only Pooh & Eeyore were at lunch.

The last time I was at WDW in Oct 2003. I did Chef Mickey's with my Sister and her family. We had a great time. The food was very good. The characters were fantastic. I would highly recommend Chef Mickey's.

Hi Cinderella! We dined at Crystal Palace the night of our MVMCP tickets this past December. There were a lot of people there for the party, but we had plenty of time to eat and plenty to eat. The Pooh characters were out and about and we loved it all. That was our 5th time at CP, so I would highly recommend it.
