I almost fell out of my chair last night when my DH said he couldn't wait to get to Disney for a turkey leg. He said he was craving one! :shock: No way in the world would you get me to eat one, I can't even watch him eat one! Yuck! Anyway, he said he wanted one in Frontierland, not in Tomorrowland. He said there is just something about the wild west and a turkey leg. :confused2:
So all you turkey leg eaters, do you have a place you prefer to eat those big ole greasy gristley nasty turkey legs? :D

LOL LGC. I can't see you walking around with someone knawing on a bone with meat on it.

I'm picturing the look on Cheri's face when her Dh is eating one of those. :rofl: We got one last summer near the Buzz ride. It was okay, but I would not knaw on it, I cut a piece off. Ok I'll admit, I wouldn't let Dh or the boys knaw on it either. :oops: And thankfully they all did as I asked. Any chance Cheri, we'll see a picture of you and a turkey leg?

OHHHH I'm with you Cheri!! The only thing worse than watching someone eat one of those things is watching them eat it when it is 95 degrees out!! Somehow, it's even worse for me then!!

No particular favourite in our family, though tradition has it that while I'm getting my roasted potato/chicken/bean salad from the Plaza Pavillion, my dh and kids are getting turkey legs and flourescent slushies for lunch!

Okay, Tag, that's it! It may take me months, maybe even years, but I will find a way to exact retribution! :hppmad:

Uh-Oh.... I'm in TTTTRRROOOUUUBBLLEEE. :hiding:
Wait a minute... I think Sandar protests too much... Could she possibly have a secret desire for a Turkey leg.... I'm thinking she DOES... How many barbarians DON'T like Turkey Legs???!!!
mmmmm, tastes like smoked ham! :eat:

:devil: Tag!
Ack, phoey, blech, nasty!
It is not POSSIBLE to put down turkey legs more than they deserve. They are on Sandar's List of Inedible Substances, along with:
* Squid, octopi, and other shapeless tentacled things
* Mushrooms and all related fungi
* Weinerschnitzel
* My MIL's casseroles
Well, you get the idea.
In any case, I have lots of pondering to do to find the most appropriate way to get back at you. It's not just a question of finding the best way to pay you back! Once decided upon, the ideal plan will almost certainly involve sneakiness, willing co-conspirators, and impeccable timing.
That's okay, though.
I have PLENTY of time to figure it all out.
Be afraid, Tag. Be very afraid.
:duel:
I've had them in Frontierland, Epcot after riding Test Track, and over in MGM while waiting for Fantasmic. I've found them all to be pretty good.
Tag, I must agree with you that it appears Sandi has a secret, hidden craving to sink her teeth into one of these moist, smokey treats....
And eating meat off the bone simply means you don't have to use utensils. Bones are built in handles. :viking: <-I think it does look like a turkey leg the Viking is holding.

Very funny - everyone!
In AK, which I believe is the perfect place to eat a turkey leg :wink:, there is a stand on the way towards the Dinosaur area. I think there are other food stands around for the non-meat on the bone eaters! :wink:

We did not try them but had a great laugh watching people trying to eat them at Frontier land with a bunch of birds hovering around them.
I think Roy will try one next time. I would like to get a picture of that but will not be able to look at him finish it cause I know he will knaw on the turkey bone. Yeck
