This is one of those articles that reminds us all to be weary of giving out personal info when we are not certain of who we are talking to (or if the deal sounds just too good to be true):

Good info to know. Hopefully, people will actually read those cards they put next to the phone. Truthfully, not sure I would read it thinking it was just info telling me how to make various kinds of calls.
That could be so easy of a scam to fall for even if you are wise to those kinds of things at home, you just don't expect someone to call your room and know who you are unless they actually know who you are. With the Year of a Million Dreams promotion happening, seems even easier to believe maybe this is a "dream" even if you have to pay something.

I posted this on the resorts board too.
It was on WFTV last night and again this afternoon. They interviewed the woman who was scammed at the Poly. They stated it's happened at Pop too.

Who would think you might get scammed at Disney....and that is why they are doing it and people fall for it....:mad:
Guess we always have to be cautious :?
