5 new attractions for the Studios are either in progress or in planning.

I hope the new studio attractions are in progress rather than planning.. I just love that park but it really needs something else.. Indy Jones is soooo old and I detest that Stunt Cars thing.

There are rumors going around some kind of American Idol type show is going into the old ABC theater. We know about Toy Story Mania. The old Hunchback theater is being gutted. That leaves two more attractions.

I hope they had something that has a little more thrill to it - this park really bores me and I really want to like it more.

Unless I'm missing something, currently the park has 2 thrill rides.

One dark ride - Great Movie Ride (is that considered a dark ride?)
One simulator - some might consider it a thrill ride, since there are health restrictions to ride
One tour attraction - well, 1/2 since they rip out most of the backlot

and the rest is all shows.

Am I missing something?

I'd like to see more dark rides. Toy Story Mania is the type I like as it can appeal to all age groups and health levels.

I wish they'd add more of those middle attractions. More exciting than sitting watching a show, and not so thrilling that there need to be restrictions on who can ride.

The Studios are also getting a new parade, Block Party Bash. That may also count as a new attraction.

I saw Block Party Bash at CA, and it's a good Pixar parade. I didn't like it's format though. It would travel through the park, and put on a 'dance with the parade' type performance and then move on. I think each stop took about 15 minutes.

Everyone would line up to see the parade, but if you were in the 3rd zone, it could easily be an additional 1/2 hour before it got to your location.

My back can't take 45 minutes to an hour standing in one place.

I hope they modify the flow of the parade.
