View Full Version : Calif Grill/fireworks timing
ok once I know what time MK fireworks are (if they are showing that night) how do I know what time to book PS at California Grill for DH & myself so we will be able to see the fireworks?
I'm looking for a "relative" amount of time... ie., book PS 30 min prior to fireworks scheduled time.
Thanks!

Last November, we had a PS for about 30 min before the fireworks. I think the FW were at 8 pm that night. We arrived a little early for our PS and asked for a table by the window. They said we might have to wait longer, but after only about 5-10 min, we were shown to a window table!
I think we got lucky in the timing of the FW...you have to kind of guess when the first seating of diners will be finished. For example, dinner starts at 5:30 pm, so those people will probably be done around 7:30 pm. If the FW are earlier than that, there is probably little chance of getting a window table.
But, as for just being seated by the time the FW start, I would say book your PS at least 30 min prior and no more than 90 min prior to the FW start time.
Good luck!! And happy eating!! :eat:

I agree that you should book at least 30 minutes ahead of time. And hour might even be better. Arriving early to the podium and requesting a window seat and saying you don't mind waiting is also a good idea. Good luck and have a great meal! :burger:
