The room shots are pretty and the river view is beautiful. Thanks for posting the link, Margaret - I've been curious to see how the rooms changed.

They didn't change a lot except for the elimination of the armoire in exchange for a dresser. I bet there is more storage room in the dresser. I love that resort. Now the rooms will be fresh for the next group of guests to enjoy.

Looks great, can't wait until we check in December 10th - oh that is sooooo far away! I can make it, just more planning time :minnie:

I just thought the rooms, overall, look lighter (comparing to the older photos on Deb's site). Also think the privacy curtain is a cool touch. Wish they'd add that at other resorts!

I'm now really really really excited to stay there in just 3 short weeks. That decor is right up my alley! Thanks for the sharing the link Margaret!

The renovations look great! I am envious of those who will be staying there, and I'm glad to see they added the privacy curtain like they have at CBR. I've seen a lot of people wishing that more of the resorts had the added privacy.

I think our own cshore will be staying there next week, so hopefully she'll bring back some more pics in time for Cheri's trip! :D

Oh yes, that privacy curtain will come in handy for this Mom. I'm really looking forward to staying there.

The new refurbishments look great! DS and I stayed there in 2002 after the last shutdown and the room update is very nice. Cross your fingers that I get to go down this May....waiting for Mom to think about a Mother's Day/Birthday trip. She is 69 and never experienced WDW....told her it was about time!!

The rooms at POFQ are BEAUTIFUL!! The colors are so pretty and the dark heavy furniture is very French. It truly felt like a deluxe resort. The bedspeads are bright and contain lots of hiddeen Mickeys, as well as teh upholstery on the chairs. So much around the resort has been freshly painted. The facelift of this resort is wonderful. We did notice that the frog fountains were not turned on, maybe they are being rehabbed too. The service was great and we were so happy to be back!

It does look great. I too noticed the privacy curtain right away. Great idea!
