As we were cleaning out my grandparents house, (they are now in assisted living) I wanted a teapot that had always sat on the counter. My mom didn't want it, nor did my uncle. So, when I went to pick it up, it was heavy! Inside was a ton of change. I told my grandmother it was in there and she said the kids could have it. Well, I rolled that change this weekend and there was $79!! Now the kids have some spending money.
It was exciting!

Cheri,
What a find! I'm sure the kids will have no trouble spending it. And you also get the teapot, a treasure in itself!

SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Isn't that great when we FIND money and not LOOSE it?
I'm stashing away money in my little plastic folder with my AP passes and one day leftover park hopper from last year etc. I'm hoping I'll forget it's there and when I go get the folder to plan next December's trip, I'll have thousands of dollars waiting.
Well, maybe $100 or more.
Great find Cheri and the kids will have no problem finding something to buy.

The kids will LOVE that Cheri! Ours love having their own spending money. Its a year long savings event, but they are pretty good at squirreling it away for the next trip! :)
And it was so generous of your Grandmother to give it to them (and the teapot to you!). Enjoy!
