We leave this Thursday for that Magical place in Florida. My problem is that 'my' system has already begun to 'shutdown' and I don't think I can 'reboot'. I have this problem every time we prepare to go to visit the Mouse, and frankly just about every time I get close to vacation. Not only cannot I not function properly during the day, I spend most every night dreaming about packing to go. Sometimes I work so hard in my sleep I'm actually more tired in the morning! :deepSleep:

Please reassure me that I'm not the only one....c'mon, you know who you are! :partytime:

I am convinced the only cure is moving near Orlando for retirement someday. Hey, ya do what you can! :help:

Hey there Nancy, I do know EXACTLY what you are talking about. We should be hitting MCO within hours of each other. And I'm already getting into vacation mode. (But I did start packing today...)

Oh, Nancy, you definitely aren't alone! I get so all-over excited I practically vibrate with delight!

But packing in your sleep? When you could dream of UNpacking at the World? ;-)

Will do the happy dance for you!

dear Nancy and Joe,

First off, congrats to both of you that your trips are so near. Wahoo! :minnie:

And yes, I'm all too familiar with the syndrome you describe. For about a week prior to starting a Disney World trip, I am absolutely useless on all counts. If a chore or errand doesn't somehow relate to trip preparation, then I do my best to ignore it. We tend to eat a lot of subs and takeout Chinese food that week. :eat:

Hope you're both enjoying the buzz of anticipation these last couple of days. Happy Disney dreaming!

Sandi

You got it bad, kid. Take two park brochures and post here in the morning. It helps.

At least you are nice and close to your trip, I've got over 100 days yet! By the time my trip gets here, I'll be completely exhausted. I hope both you and Joe will post trip reports to hold me over until it is my time to go.
Enjoy!

Understand it completely -
I pack as early as I can, double check that I have everything, then try to work in as many Disney words, or ideas into normal conversation. Everyone around me just rolls their eyes - but I am very happy!
