Shelly Your Plate Is Done

Shelly I stopped by the Crafts Center on the way home and found your plate was done. We're in a bad ice storm here so I left it in my car. I'd of hated to slip on the ice & destroy it accidentally. Hopefully the storm will end by tomorrow and I'll be able to take some pix to post for you. PM me your home street addy. UPS won't deliver to Post Office Boxes. If things click right I'll get to UPS by Monday (or earlier) to ship it.

Wow Andy,

My plate must have snuck into a rotation. This is so cool. Yeah don't go out of your way to ship it quickly. Your health and safety is more important than a plate. Oh to be dealing with the winter problems in a way it sounds wonderful. Living in San Antonio we rarely get snow or even ice for what it's worth. Ok I am sending a pm to ya.

Yep you lucked out with the rotation Shelly.:) Now if I can get it into UPS tomorrow I'll PM you the shipping cost and you can reimburse me. Hopefully the piece will arrive sometime next week if I can get it out.

Shelly, UPS has your package and promised delivery for the 20th. I PM'd you the tracking number and cost. My shipping cost guesstimate wasn't too far off, thank goodness. Let me know if it arrives intact? UPS can unintentionally jostle things more the usual this time of year. Enjoy the piece :mickeyXmas:.

Raisins would be great in the Oatmeal cookies Shelly. Chewy is great too :) Just no nuts if you were thinking of adding them. I have a problem with my gut that won't let me digest them painlessly.

Don't worry I never put nuts in my oatmeal cookies. Sometime I do put butterscotch chips to make oatmeal scotchies. How does that sound?

Shelly, I just tracked the plate and your box has made it at least to San Antonio. It's still marked for delivery today but the tracking doesn't give me a clue if it's out fo delivery like it normally does. About the only thing it doesn't say is delivery is rescheduled >shrug< so it MAY be on it's way to you. Keep an eye out for the package and let me know if the plate arrives intact, OK??

:minnie:Yep I sure did. It arrived late Thursday night and perfectly intatact. I am soooo sorry that I haven't pm'd you sooner. The girls had a half day of school on Friday and of course all 3 had parties that they wanted me to bake something for. Uggh 3 different things (cupcakes, strawberry bannana muffins, and sugar cookies). So I am finally just catching my breath from the last week. This is the first time that I have even commented on something here at Tagrel for the last few days. My life has just been too crazy. Happy that I don't have to go anywhere for the next few days and I can just chill.

Your cookies are made and I will send the check to you on either Monday if I get to the p.o. or wed.

Thanks again so much for the plate. I love it and my dd's recognized it from the pictures that you posted. They said to me wasn't that the plate that we saw on that Disney site you go to all the time. Yep the one and the same.

Nice to hear you liked the plate Shelly. I hope you get a lot of enjoyment from the pottery. Thanks for making the cookies. They'll be a big hit here. :) BTW if you ever want any other pieces let me know. I need the practice making them. :)
