Does Tagrel have an ECV sponsor?
I looked but did not see one listed.
Thanks.

Currently, we do not have an EVC sponsor. I usually book through Walker Mobility (walkermobility. com). I have received good service from them and I know many Tags use them. Care Medical is another that I have heard others use. :)

Thanks SuzyQ,
I have used Walker for three years now and very pleased with them. We rent 2 of them every trip.
I thought if we had a sponsor here I would check them out. We will be doing 2 trips in 2008

Great idea, Mickeefan! IF we did have one, tags would make a fortune off me! My ecv rentals cost more than my cars, and I'll have nearly 30 days of park time in 2008 - MORE than enough to BUY an ecv, if only I had some way to transport it home.

While sponsors like this don't typically pay by the rental, it IS a good idea for a site sponsor. I'll have to look into it in the future (i.e. AFTER MouseFest - sometime in the upcoming year! ;) )

I don't typically approach sponsors... They usually come to me. But if a company is a good fit, and this really is - why not?

Keep those reviews coming! I'd like to go with a company that everyone likes best.

I use Walkers. They give really good service and their machines are usually well maintained. The downside is - there are no discounts, even for extended stays.

I use Walkers also. They have been very reliable.
I have only had one problem with an ECV. It also happened to be a new one. The gears went out of it. Walker very promptly replaced it and brought the replacement right to my room.
The only reason I had mentioned it was I saw a couple of other sites had ECV sponsors.

I asked for, and received, a discount from Walker for my 8 day rental in October.

However, when I got a flat tire on Saturday night at 6:45, they were unable to bring me a replacement because "everyone had gone home". I thought since they were open until 8, that they would replace until 8. I had to walk out of the park and they delivered one the next morning. At first they told me "by 9:30am" but I told them since I had already been inconvenienced the night before, they could get it to me "before 8am" and they did.

My hubby used one from Walker for our stay in September. The only problem we had was that our first one just didn't have enough oomph and by the time we got back to Pop we had to push it to the room. Walker replaced it with a new one and we didn't have any problems after that. I would highly recommend Walker to anyone who rents a ECV. Oh and I think I found a discount code on Deb Wills ebook at the end. I think it took $10 or so off of the rental. Hope this helps!
