POR rehab has started in the Mansions

The much needed rehab of POR has begun. The first area to be done is the Mansions. Right now they have 2 buildings started, with the two others scheduled to close next week. Once the Mansions are done they will move into the Bayou. This news is thanks to friends of mine who are staying at POR right now, arrived this morning. They have also reported to me that the magic is quite alive and well at POR even with rehab going on!

Thanks for the update Francine! Do you know if it's an "indoor" (like of the rooms) or "outdoor" (exterior) renovation? The Mansion area is one location I would like to check out for a future visit. I'm hoping that area isn't all torn up when I go in mid-May!!

This rehab is on the inside. I understand that they have gutted the rooms, and are doing them all over.
