The friend that sent this to me swares these people are accurate so if you're in the market (like I am) for Digital Media you may want to take a look at Best Buy on Friday.

I don't have to tell you these are great prices.

Nicely organized site!

Take a look at Staples as well. Looks like their prices are excellent!

ETA - wow - I like that site. Pictures of the items, easy to add things to a shopping list, and nicely prints said shopping list as well. Kristen is going to like this.. :peri:

I think this was the Black Friday site I went to last year to scope out my deals. The only thing you need to watch for is mail in rebates - some of those prices have two and three mail ins and they are a real pain! I never did get one of the rebates for my flat panel monitor last year.

Thanks for reminding me to go look for some stuff! :minnie:

Keep in mind that memory cards also come in different speeds. Sometimes a card is extremely cheap because it's slower than the rest and will take longer to write the image. That being said the SanDisk 2GB CF Ultra II is a good price. I'm hoping to get a look at our flyer tomorrow.

Too bad the site doesn't include Office Depot; around here, the Office Depot stores have some really good sales on memory cards and flash drives year-round, and more of them during the holiday shopping season. Once in a while they also have good sales on cameras, too.

For those whose cameras take SD cards, you can also look at Crucial.com; they have some excellent prices on 1gb and 2gb Crucial brand SD cards. Crucial is the very best PC memory manufacturer, so I trust their flash memory. I have two Crucial CF cards that are still performing perfectly after about 4 years of use.

I've used this site the last couple of years and found them to be very accurate. While I'll still be going over the ads on Thanksgiving, this site gives me away to narrow down my searches.

Also watch for online specials all week at walmart.com, bestbuy.com, circuitcity.com and some others.

Happy Hunting!

I have seen the ad for Ritz Camera. There are several point and shoots marked down $20-50 off. Lots of free extras including a jacket. I believe cell phones w/ a new T-Mobile contract are also on sale.

Office Depot's ad is on their site. (This uses my zip code)

My only plan is to drive back over to BJ's Warehouse. (I got a card for a free membership through January). There's a coupon for $5 off olive oil. My needs are simple. Besides, I went yesterday to check them out and drop $120.

They had Meet the Robinsons and the Jungle Book DVDs $13.99. Cheaper than anywhere else I'd looked.

Well I was there dark and early this A.M. and while the crowd was rediculous the savings was worth it. I liked the memory card deal so much I decided to pick-up the flash memory as well. And as long as I was already there I picked up a few things that Stitch wants for Christmas. I made two other stops to pick up some stuff for dw and was back in the house and fast asleep by 7:00.

I don't normally go out on Black Friday, but all in all I think I did well and while I wasn't crazy about waking up early on a day off, I didn't get up any earlier than I do for a normal work day, and I was off all this week anyway.
