Headless horseman. I've read in a couple trip reports now that people had some difficulty capturing the headless horseman. The photo could be better, but at least this proves he does exist . . .

Because the horse is so dark almost all pictures look terrible, but in person what a site to see! Thanks for finding a picture Linda.

Great shot Linda. You're not kidding about it being an elusive shot. The one and only time I had the opportunity to get a shot of this I was going to video it and had my camera all set facing the bridge (we were in the handicap viewing area opposite HOP) and my battery died. Before I could change it he had already passed.

Good job Linda! We watched both parades the night we went, and I did not try to take a picture during the first one, I just wanted to watch him. Here is my attempt during the second parade, I did not wait until he was close enough so it is very dark. I tried to brighten it up but that just makes it grainy.

Oh! I like yours too, John! You got a really good view of his empty collar!, whereas mine, you're not sure if he has a head or not.

Joh, That's GREAT! You can really see he has no head, whereas with mine, you're just not sure.
