We will only be spending one full day and want to get the highlights of Universal Studio's and Islands of Adventure. We will have front of the line privileges.

My daughter is fairly brave, but I doubt will do Hulk or Dueling Dragons. What are the absolutely "Not to be missed" attractions?

Also, any suggestions on how we can totally avoid the Barney show? I survived two years ago, but don't think I can again! I can't believe she still likes Barney.

Go to Barney. You will be yearning for the Barney years when she is a teenager.

Don't miss Jimmy Neutron and the new Shrek show. Don't miss Nick Studios, the Animal show, ET, Men In Black.

At IOA, all of Seuss Landings, with Cat in the Hat at least 40 times. :D She will love the Sinbad show and it doesn't get shown that many times a day, so check the schedule that you don't miss it. I think the Flying Unicorn would be fun, but it is a very short ride, a small coaster.

If Triceratops Encounter is open, don't miss. And I think she will like Spidey, too. Can you stand spinning? If so, then Stormforce Acceleratron(I probably have that name wrong. My park guide is in the other room). And if you both can stand to get soaked to the bone, Toon Lagoon has 3 rides waiting for both of you.

In the Lost Continent, there is a darling talking fountain that will talk to you and squirt you. She should be fascinated by that one. Have fun!

I second the Talking Fountain. My 14yr old still talks about that fountain. The fountain finally asked the parents of the kid who keeps talking about Disney to please come take him away.

My 7 yr old (not to mention his two teen brothers) LOVED the new, "Beetlejuice Presents the Extreme Ghostbusters streetshow. They stayed to get pictures and autographs with the characters after the show.

The show had music, dancing and lots of comedy. I have to agree with them that it was a very good show!

My boys have already been talking about going back there again this year, and what they'll wear that day. (one kid had a Mr. Staypuft tee shirt on that met with much appreciation from the characters)

I'd recommend having the 7yr old meet up with this show during his visit to USF. My son always tells people this was his favorite thing from last year's vacation.

Be sure to get a passport at IOA. In each land, you get a stamp (it tells you where to get these) and once you've gotten them all, you get a special pen at the end. There is also a place in the back of the passport for autographs. My DD had a blast doing this!
