New from PA

Hi there!

My name is Teresa and I am from Pennsylvania. I have been traveling down to Disney since I was 2 years old and am a complete and total addict. My husband propsed to me in Disney in Cinderella's castle in January 2002. If I could have had it my way our wedding would have been down there too, but my parents said it would get to pricey. So we were wed up here but spent our honeymoon in WDW! It was great.

I am hoping to eventually become a travel agent that specializes in WDW vacations and have tried to figure out how, so if any of you have any advice on the subject I would be happy to hear it!

I'm originally from PA and hope to get back there some day! Though for now we will have to suffer with living only 90 min. from DL. :rofl:
We also spent our Honeymoon in WDW - though quite a while ago.

Good poll question -- I am very interested in the results -- I love to talk about Attractions. If you are interested, the Park Rangers (Parks & Attractions) chat on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month, the Pressed Pennies (Budget) gather in the chat room on the 2nd Sunday of the month, Resort Round-up is on the 4th Tuesday of each month, and there are Mickey Mic Chats (open Disney chats) on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month. Chats start at 9 pm ET. :talking:

Great seeing you here, WDWFanJordan! We do have fun here on Tagrel's site. I don't think Tag mentioned that Tink1 is located in Pennsylvania--who knows, you could be neighbors! I used to live in Pittsburgh myself. I can't imagine anything more romantic than being proposed to at Cinderella's castle. You must have one great sweetie!

Hi Teresa! I am relatively new here also, and I made a similar comment to yours when I joined - everyone seems so friendly on this site compared to some others. You never need to be worried here - everyone is so supportive and helpful!! How awesome to be proposed to at Cinderella's castle - that's something you can recall on each visit - funny, I know I'm quite a bit older than you ( I'll be married 24 years in May) but we honeymooned at Disneyalso and I am hoping for a 2nd career as a Disney travel specialist!! So, even across generations, us Disney folks have a lot in common@!! Welcome, again!

I would love to see the old Imagination return. We were on Cape Cod a few years ago and passed a shop that sold soap and other gifts. We were so excited when we smelled the Imagination smell when passing by. Unfortunately it was closed and the next year it was gone. :( Ah, we have many special memories from Imagination. Great poll!
