The electrical parade is back to Tokyo and dressed up with a few new features like Monsters, Inc. and Finding Nemo lighted floats.

For a bit of the fun without the 16 hour flight, check out this link. Just be aware, it is a sound one, if you don't want to be caught watching this when you should be in an Excel spread sheet.

Aggggggggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I just checked DL's website to see what time the Electrical Light Parade is so I can book a dining reservation for the Vineyard Room. There's no parade listed!! Tokyo took the parade!! I thought they just made another one. :crying: I was trying to do something extra cool for Yoli and this was my 2nd choice. They already took down the gallery seating/dessert party for Fantasmic.

Razzle frazzle frickin' frackin'.

ETA: According to the Other Lisa, the parade only appears now around Christmas time or during the Summer. Tokyo didn't take the parade, I'm just a dufus. Continue on...

I think there is enough Dufus to go around for both Lisa and DL. ;)

Wow, it looks like they did a nice job on sprucing up the floats. Nice colors!

(I wonder if they are Siemens' bulbs.) :D

They get an updated ELP and all we get is the creepy dolls taking off their masks. :(

It looks like they re-did a lot of the floats. Only Pete's Dragon looks unchanged. Look at the new Blue Fairy.

Sigh.... Tokyo Disney does so many things well. We really need to look at all they've done and copy the best things for the US.

Or better yet - visit Tokyo Disney! :)

Actually, it is pretty pricey to get there, but if there is any way to use air miles for travel or save for something special - Tokyo Disney (Disneyland and Sea) are our favorite parks; hands down. The are beautiful, clean, large (lots of room to walk) and Sea is so innovative!

I'm not interested in going to Tokyo, but I saw the Electric Light Parade when they brought it to Disneyworld and saw it a long time ago at Disneyland. I like it better than Spectro. Please bring the new version to WDW.

Believe me, if I ever get the opportunity, I am THERE!! I would love to see these parks (I even bought the Tokyo Disney DVDs from Extinct Attractions, and I keep begging them for one of Seas.)

A friend of mine was just at Hong Kong Disney and said their Jungle Cruise and Lion King show blow ours out of the water! So I'd like to see these updates come to the States too. And their monorail/subway is phenomenal!
