Bounce Back Promotion

Has anybody else heard that WDW is offering a bounce back promotion which includes free dining for those staying at WDW in Sept 2007, if they book their 2008 Sept vacation while at WDW? I saw this on another board?

I haven't heard of Bounce Back promotions at Disney for years. That would be wonderful if they offer something like that. Normally, it is a very good deal. When I was staying at the Poly in 2003, I got a bounce back offer under my door. It gave a great discount on a Poly stay up to the next year if I booked before I left. This reminds me of the onboard ship booking incentives when you sail the Magic and Wonder. Those are usually the best discounts you can get.

Unless there is a penalty for cancellation, I would recommend taking advantage of any Bounce Back offer you get. You can always transfer it to your Travel Agent once home and they can handle further details for you.

It is true! I have a friend who is currently in Disney at All Stars and she received this offer. They slid it under her door on her third day. I am really excited for her and I sure hope this means that they will offer the free dining again next year to the genreal public also. It is such a great deal, we have been lucky enough to receive before and would love to do it again.

Thanks for the confirmation, Linnie! It's been a few years (2003 maybe :confused:) since I got one of those bounce back deals. It was such a good deal I remember calling the Dad from my resort to let him know that I had plans for his credit card! :lol:

I saw the flyer at the front desk today when we checked in so I just asked the CM for one and he gave it to me. When I got to the room I booked us in for next year with the free dining and a 1 day base since we will still have our AP. Great deal and now I don't have to keep my fingers crossed for the year hoping they offer the free dining again.

We took advantage of a bounce back offer when we were at POFQ in December of 2006. It allowed us to book our trip this September 2007 with free dining far ahead of the promotion being offered to everyone.

Wanda, I read somewhere that the dates are August 31 thru September 28, 2008. You must book while at Disney thru September 29, 2007.

Now, how do I convince DH that this is a good idea since I promised I wouldn't beg for another trip for a couple of years?!!!:wink:

Do you think then it would be better to do this promotion with my sister and kids next year instead of getting the beach club villa for $850 and buying the dining plan? Also, is the free dining going to be the new one where tips are not included and neither are appetizers?

The free dining for next year is under the new plan, not tip or appetizer, the CM was very clear on that when we booked it. Also you must book before you check out and make a deposit on or before Sept. 28th. So if you are checking in Sept. 27th and checking out Nov. 5th you still must book before Sept 28th.
