I try to be fair, but I just don't LIKE this man... I mean how egotistical can you be? And to basically advertise to sell off Disney...

Eisner expects to prevail
Disney chairman, in "Larry King Live" interview, calls Comcast bid 'underwhelming.'

NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - Walt Disney Co. chairman and CEO Michael Eisner said Friday he expects the media company's management to prevail against dissident shareholders and Comcast Corp.'s takeover bid.
Appearing on CNN's "Larry King Live," Eisner said he believes the company is doing well. "As far as the essential part of our business (is concerned), we're doing great," he said.
Eisner said he expects the challenge to his leadership being mounted by ex-board members Roy Disney and Stanley Gold to go away.
"I had some sense that everybody in my life wasn't happy," the Disney chairman said in response to a question about whether he expected the dissident movement. "Everybody doesn't agree with everything you're going to do."
Eisner called Comcast's takeover bid for the company, rejected by the board earlier this week "highly underwhelming." He said it was unlikely any company would come up with a bid spectacular enough to buy the company, but added if that should happen "We will not only consider it, we will accept it."
The Disney (DIS: Research, Estimates) chairman said he doesn't expect much contention at the company's shareholders' meeting in Philadelphia on March 3. He said he expects to show how well the company has recovered from the downturn that followed the Sept. 11 attack, saying "everything we did during that difficult period is benefiting us."
Eisner also said he has no intention of stepping down from his job. "I love it. I love the work," he said. "I'm invigorated by it, and I think that's what keeps me healthy."
