... ride the Riverboat!! :captain:
The Riverboat is something we have never experienced. It is on my I WILL do it list. Do you have an attraction, a resturant, or just taking time out to smell the roses that is on your list for you next trip? If so, let's hear it! :D

Next trip I WILL try to be more daring. I will get on Test Track and maybe TOT (of course I'll probably be alone - DH will not go on TOT). I WILL try to see things I have not seen yet or just didn't have time to see in all our other trips.
I WILL spend more time at MGM and Animal Kingdom and not race through.
I WILL spend more money on souvenirs

Well, maybe that's not possible to do!!!
I wish having to make a decision on where to spend my time at DW was the worst decision I'd have to make in my life.
This should be a good threat. Thanks Cheri.

OH Cheri! You have never done the Riverboat!!?!? Girl, you have been missing out! That is one of our favorite things to do - it's so relaxing and not hard to get on as far as waits. Even on Christmas we hardly waited very long and had a great place to stand by the rails. :)
We still have not done Flights of Wonder at AK, so that's on our list for next time.

I will do Philharmagic next trip. We had such a whirlwind trip in December that we just did not have a chance to see this new 3D show. Can't wait! And if my sweet friend (Cheri) who shares my Birthday (Cheri) happens to get to be at Disney at the same time, I will make sure she (Cheri) gets to see Illuminations!!

Exactly what are ya saying Margaret? LOL
oooh I have a WHOLE list of things we have never done that I really want to do, if not this trip in Oct/Nov, then definitely the one with my sister in July!
MK-
ride the train ALL the way around the park
Philharmagic
Dumbo
Magic Carpets
Toontown Fair (never been)
(also want to get in CoP & Timekeeper if they are still open)
EPCOT-
figment!
Mission Space
ALL the countries (have only done little bits of some)
AK-
Rafiki's Planet Watch
Primeval Whirl
Pangami Trail (we always end up on the other one)
Camp Minnie-Mickey
Jammin Jungle Parade
MGM-
Sorcerer's Cap
Millionaire
Walt Exhibit
find my way around this park... I can't get my bearings for some reason like the others.
This is an excellent thread!

On my next Disney trip, I WILL not trample any little kids in the squirting water fountains!! LOL I actually did run over some poor little girl at Universal near City Walk. My friends dared me to run through the water fountains, of course there was noone there, I started running through and out of nowhere, some little girl ran right in front of me. I had no time to stop and I hit her. I felt horrible  BUT, I didnt get hit by the water 8) That is all that counts!!
Little girl, if your out there, I am sorry

There are several things I want to do on my next trip:
stay at either the Polynesian or AKL (or both!)
take a behind the scenes tour
visit each of the resorts
breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table
dinner at O'Hana
On our last trip, I finally got myself to go on Space Mountain which I'd been terrified to try but loved.

Good question...
I WILL make my DH fall in love with WDW so we can return sooner than I think we will.
I WILL make DH give Space Mountain another try, after an unpleasant DL experience.
I WILL take time to stop and smell the roses, even though there is so much I want to do.
I WILL use sunscreen so I'm not red as a beet on my first night.
I WILL get my picture taken with Pooh and/or Eeyore!! :D

I will spend time each day with each of the groups of kids going along. (yeah like they want their old mon/aunt hanging with them) There will probably be 3 groups: the boys (ages just 16 & almost 18- not into thrill rides but have never been to Disney) The girls,(ages almost 22, just 19, 18, almost 16 and 12- definately the thrill ride group- 16 year old won't do TOT but all are up for everything else and have been to WDW at least once (with me)) and the little kids (ages 3,4,&5 who have never been to Disney they are my ticket to Toon Town, Camp Mickey Minnie ect).
I will also try really hard to take that afternoon break- last summer I usually got back to cabins about 5pm in time to go out for the evening. I really want to have a couple of hours down time in the afternoon while I'm there (Pool chair here I come???)
I will also try to keep up my 1/2 marathon training with a couple of runs.
I will also let my DH do what he wants even if it's nothing- and not worry.
Do my goals sound reasonable??? This trip is all about experiencing Disney Magic with my family. (SIL and I will probably end up doing "thrill rides" with the girls- funny how the girls in the family are the adventurous ones while the guys (just like their dads - who are brothers) prefer the slower less thrilling rides. They youngest BIL is the only "thrill rider" of the 5 boys but since he has 2 little kids I don't know how many he'll make it on. THe "girls" however are planning on having "kids" for at least part of each day. Maybe we "adults" will get to do something all 6 together.

Great question Cheri

What a fun trip this should be. You have all age groups covered so you should be able to enjoy Thrill rides, relaxing attractions, shows, Toon Town, pools, food, in other words everything at Disney. Enjoy your trip!

Oh, I got one:-) On my next trip, with Masen, I will FINALLY ride the dumbo ride. I have never gone on it and I think its the only ride I have never been on anywhere at Disney. I told Jenine years ago that I would not ride it until I did it with my son(or girl). Now I can finally do it:-) I cant wait!!!

Actually, Dumbo aint too bad! :winking: With the skyway gone, its the only way to get a birds eye view of Fantasyland! :) Its a must do every year with the girls, but get there at opening. Thats one slow line if you don't!

Hi,
Must do at WDW? Hard question. I was there for twelve days (Dec 3-14 including arrival and departure) and did just about everything I wanted to do. But there are a couple things I've never done:
Dumbo
DisneyQuest
Parasailing
Jim
Moley

oooooo, wouldn't this make a GREAT MouseFest Meet? We could meet before or after to chat, but racing around the Seven Seas Lagoon would be GREAT! They'd call us the Moley Gang... Tourists would scream in fear at the mere mention of the name...

Stay onsite for a few nights.
We cannot afford to do the whole 3 weeks onsite but we (actually, when I say we, I mean I cause the rest of the family lets me make all the decisions. lol. they don't now the fun they are missing in the planning) are thinking about 3 nights AS, 14 nights Holiday Inn Maingate East, and the last 4 nights at AS again.

Hi Paula,
Have you ever tried Your Magical Journeys for your reservation. Nanci (Tink) has always gotten us the most incredible rates. I know that when some rates come out for All Stars they can be as low as $49 a night. I'd hate to see you stay off property if it is possible for you to stay on for your whole trip.

Hi Sheryl
When we went in July 2003 we did not know that we were going for sure until the week before so we were rushing to get reservations. Tried the Fairytale package but it was booked so I reserved all 14 nights at Holiday Inn Maingate East. I am so glad we did. We loved it. Everyone at the hotel was great, especially our breakfast waiter, Sam. He became a great friend and my husband even phoned him in Florida last week to see how things were going. My family would be so upset if we did not stay at HIME for part of the trip. Plus, if I stayed onsite the whole time, I would not feel like leaving to see Universal, Seaworld and Busch.
I am hoping that in October 2005 some Canadian at Par Deals will be offered for AS. Thanks for mentioning Your Magical Journeys. I will definitely contact Tink when the time comes to book.
Thanks Again

Paula,
I can understand your wanting to stay off sight for a while if you are going to other things around Disney. That is something I have not been able to bring myself to do yet. I keep thinking someday my boys will want to go to Universal and Sea World, then what will I do? LOL
Happy Planning!

The last time we went to WDW, we stayed at POR for 6 days and then moved to a hotel on International Drive to see Sea World and Universal. I think it was Ramade Limited Suites. We got a 2 bedroom/2 bath with sofa sleeper in living room and kitchenette for 3 nights for the price of 1 night at POR*S*

------take time to smell the roses. This will be the first time for me during the Flower and Garden show. I also found, while talking to the caretaker of the roses in Dec., that their labor force in Epcot has been cut from six to two. Ahhh, more cut backs  !!! 8) Figgy

I love the Flower and Garden show! Especially when all the little booths are set up with some garden thingies and such.
It's a shame they have cut back on the landscaping crews. They always do such a great job. When we lived in Hunters Creek, one of our neighbors was one of the Landscape designers over at WDW, they had the most gorgeous yard.
