With the Oscars just over a week away - we would like to have a little Oscar Prediction Contest. So who will be named Tagrel.com Film Guru?

Give us your choices as to which will win in the following categories. And as always we would love to hear why! While there is no golden statue there is an American Mickey Mouse antenna topper and bragging rights for the coming year!

The rules are simple:

1) Make your choice for which will win in each category.

2) Ties will be broken by a drawing from all correct entries

3) The host can play but can't win. Everyone else can play and win

4) People can change their guess or make a guess until midnight ET on Saturday, February 28

5) the prize beyond the title of Film Guru is a Mickey Mouse American Anntenna Topper

So put on your critics hat or just your best guess hat and let’s have some fun!

I've not really see but 2 of these films, but I will say that if Johnny Depp doesn't win for Pirates of the Carribean, something is seriously wrong! What a fabulous actor, and not bad on the eyes either!

And Finding Nemo has to be best Animated! "You've been summoned to the top of Mount.. wannahockaloogy!" What a classic line! My hubby said, "yeah, you respiratory therapist would appreiciate that!" ROFLOL!

I would have to say that:

Lord of the Rings for best picture.

It 's a toss up for best director between Clint Eastwood and Peter Jackson but I'm going to go with Jackson.

Lead actor will go to Sean Penn even though I would really like Johnny Depp to get it!

I think Tim Robbins will get supporting actor, but I thought that Ken Watanabe did a fabulous job.

I have to give lead actress to Charlize Theron, it will be a crime if anyone else gets it.

I loved Renee Zellwegger in Cold Mountain and feel she should get best supporting actress.

As for best animated I don't see how they can give it to anything else but Finding Nemo, it is such an oscar worthy picture. That being said I have no idea what the Triplets of Belleville is!

Those are my picks and I am standing by them!!

Best Picture - Lord of the Rings
Best Director - Peter Jackson
Actor- Bill Murray (Sean Penn is who I wish would win it)
Supporting Actor - Tim Robbins
Actress - Charlize Theron
Supporting Actress - Renee Zellweger
Animated - Finding Nemo

Susan, Triplets of Bellville is an adult cartoon (rated PG-13) it's about 3 older sisters and it looks kind of old style animation (or at least it does in the preview I keep seeing over and over and over ....)

Haven't seen them all so some picks are mine and some are from "talking" I've heard.

Best Picture: "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King" (New Line)

Best Director: Peter Jackson

Actor in a Lead Role: Bill Murray in "Lost in Translation" (Focus Features)
(I may just change this to Sean Penn though) I've heard lots of critics talk about how great Lost in Translation was and what a great job Bill Murray did. Personally I didn't like the movie and didn't see anything great about his performance.

Actor in a Supporting Role: Tim Robbins in "Mystic River" (Warner Bros.)

Actress in a Lead Role: Charlize Theron in "Monster" (Newmarket Films)

Actress in a Supporting Role: Renée Zellweger in "Cold Mountain" (Miramax)

Animated feature film: "The Triplets of Belleville" (Sony Pictures Classics)

I tend to think one of the best predictions is how many times Joan Rivers will ask "who are you wearing?" Maybe that should be the tie-breaker question!

I'm really looking forward to it all, especially the Red Carpet festivities.
