:D I think I recognize a few names from the membership list. I've been wandering the net for a while now, looking for a new home base filled with fellow Disney fans.

I am a DVC member since '97. I love reading about, talking about, planning and remembering WDW trips. Most of all, I like sharing my ever growning knowledge base with anyone who asks for help. I even tried giving my son and bride-to-be a Disney Honeymoon as a gift. They wanted a trip to Hilton Head instead, where's the magic in that?
I guess we make our own magic, don't we?

Thanks for the welcome. Son is still diving off oil rigs in Louisiana. He was in Trinidad working for four weeks. He can't call when he's out so I don't hear until he returns to his apartment. No girlfriends yet (unless he meets a mermaid!!).
DH and I get out early and go for lunch often and then return to FIL after lunch. Still the same.
Trying to plan a trip for Dec. to DW if I can swing it. Have Tink working on it for me.
Glad to be here among so many old friends.

Wouldn't it be great to meet in dec? I'm working with Tink to try and stay at WL the first week of Dec. or so. Depends on what we come up with as far as where to put FIL during the time we'd be gone. Will be driving down (DH will not fly since 9/ll). Also depends on what kind of prices Tink can get. I'll keep you posted.

You may also add an icon by typing its code, such as the bouncing minnie is the symbol "colon"followed by "minnie" and type a colon again, no spaces, no quotation marks. Hope that helps.

In response to Pooh2001's post above, it took me literally decades to get her to WDW. She was one of the many who thought I was crazy to be a Disney fanatic but she became one herself after only one trip -- and what a trip that was! We were there on 9/11 (evacuated from AK) and then ran into Tropical Storm Gabrielle a few days later. Sure hope things are more pleasant on our next trip together next October. Altho, any trip to WDW is magic!

I just stopped in to say hi to all my old friends. It's great to see so many familiar names that I haven't seen in a while. Those of you that knew me at RCH/MA knew me as Tramp's Pal. I've changed my name because while we were at the World last month my DS was doing a Disney character word jumble on one of the children's menues, when all of the sudden he said look, that's our name. It turns out that Timon is an anagram of our last name, so I've been using Timon ever since.

My boy is doing well, thank you for asking. We had a slight scare before our trip because his counts went in the toilet and we thought we were going to have to cancel our trip. Fortunately the counts bounced back up to where we could go. He was also given a unit of blood that boosted him even more. We had a great trip and I'll post a trip report when I've finished it. I'm about 5/7 of the way through it.

I am planning two upcomming WDW trips currently. The first is Nov 2003 and our 30th wedding aniversary trip and next Nov (2004) I am taking a friend from work and her two children to WDW for their first trip ever to Fla and WDW.

Just signed up. I meant to do this way back in 2004 but I never got around to finding the site after a Wonderful lady told me about it while we were waiting in line for a MVMCP pin.

Not much of a poster so I will most likely be a Taginator Newbie for a while. I really like the title so I don't mind. :peri:

I just joined the Dark Side and got a DVC at SSR. Needed a better way to fund my two trips a year.

I'll be at WDW Dec 8-17. I'll be doing one or two of the Mousefest events if I can fit them in.

It has been a long while since I posted here at Tag's site. I have been absent from here, pretty much since Hurricane Katrina, and life has been upside down ever since. So, I thought I would come back and start posting more regularly.

Hi Everyone. I just wanted say it is great to find a place where Disney is not considered silly. I recently got divorced from a man who thought Disney was for kids and each time we went he grumbled and bumbled the whole time. My daughter and I love Disney. I just found this site (thanks, Jennifer!) so it may take me a little time to find my way around. I'm a Disney fanatic from way back and I've been to the World about 20 times (5 trips since 2001). I can't plan another trip for a while, sadly, because I think I overloaded my DH and he wants to "find someplace to go besides Disney!" Luckily my kids share my love of everything Disney and my DH can't turn them down when they beg to go.

Registered for this site many moons ago, but haven't been on in AGES! My computer crashed last year and I lost all my bookmarks. This seems like an easy sitename to remember, but I hadn't been on for a long time before it crashed and I simply forgot.

I see some old friends from a previous site or two, who may or may not remember me. I have even met a few of you. I have often wondered where everyone was hanging out now.

I clicked on a DVC Calculator link on Mousesavers, and when it brought me here I knew the name Tagrel sounded familiar. Then I started looking around at the other names, many of which I recognized. I couldn't figure out how to join, so I just put my standard login info in and voila! I had already registered. And then it all started coming back to me!

Anyway, I'm so glad I found my way back. I miss having Disney experts to converse with. I still love Disney and still make the trek down at least twice a year. My next trip is coming up soon. We are headed down from Michigan for 2 weeks starting Labor Day weekend.

I see you all have a meet coming up. Have a great time, and I'll be back to hear all about it. I don't think I'll lose track of Tagrel.com again!

I had been on this site several times, mostly to check out the great photos and information for the DVC resorts. I just noticed that it also has forums, so here I am -- I've been active on a few other Disney forums, but will probably be lurking around the DVC posting area the most. I am waiting on ROFR for my first DVC contract and find the forums absolutely invaluable.

A big thank you to the owner of this site, it looks fantastic and I've never seen better sigs anywhere -- kudos to the fabulous designer.

I just got back from Disneyland with my family (we're in Vancouver BC so it is much closer to us), but absolutely love Disney World and hope to make a trip back next year to get our first 'welcome home' at DVC (fingers crossed).

Ok, I'm the newbie here right now. I was fortunate enough to meet Jean (Starzneyes4Mickey -- hope I got that right!) while waiting for the Osborne Lights the other day. While trying to keep warm, we had a great conversation and she suggested I check out this community.

DH and I both have serious Disney addictions -- I guess it's contagious because he used to think *I* had a problem of sorts. But I've always maintained that if this is the worst addiction I have in my life, he's a lucky man! :winking:

Hello all!

Patrick & Lynda here, from SW Ohio. We're in closing on SSR as first-time DVC members, and we couldn't be happier :)

We got married in 1997 and honeymooned at OKW, and took the DVC tour then. Couldn't afford it at the time, but in a better place financially today, so we took the plunge.

Separately and together, we've been to the World about a dozen or so times (my earliest trip was a family vacation in 1976 ~Patrick). We visited the Disney Institute back in the day, took some animation courses, met some Disney voice actors, sailed on one of the Disney Magic's inaugural cruises, and just had a blast in the parks. Now, with DVC, we know we'll enjoy the convenience of a return trip every other year, at least.

I use a power wheelchair in my daily life, so I am keenly aware of accessibility issues and top-notch customer service. Disney of course trumps all others in this regard.
