...do what? Some of you have been to WDW many, many times. Despite your frequent visits, what can you not leave MGM without doing? I am gathering lists of must-do attractions and having DH read up on them so he knows what to expect.
In fact, to save starting a multitude of threads, what do you have to do in the other parks as well? Things have change so much since I was there, but here's a start:
MK - Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, BTMR, IASW, Pirates
EPCOT - Spaceship Earth, Maelstrom, a visit to all the countries
MGM - RnR, TOT
AK - Festival of the Lion King, Tarzan, ??? (never been to AK)
I'll be anxious to hear what you must do in each park before you leave! :D
We have to see Fantasmic every time we are there. It is one of the best shows ever!

I really enjoyed the parade at MGM. Also Star Tours is a must do. Eating at the Brown Derby also :D .

The essentials - it's not Disney until I see ______ are:
MK: Pirates, Hall of Presidents, IASW, BTMR, walking from the "Partners" statue straight thru the Castle (stopping to view the mural), watching the fireworks over the Castle
Epcot: Spaceship Earth, Malstrom, shopping at the Tea Caddy in UK, Illuminations, the film in France
Animal Kingdom: It's Tough to be a Bug, Kali Rapids, the safari ride
MGM: I haven't been to MGM in years so the goal this time is to revisit everything again!

We are not leaving Disney Studios/MGM until we have played Millionaire, rode the Great Movie Ride, eaten at Prime Time or Brown Derby, taken on ToT and RnR, experienced Walt's "One Man's Dream", found and watched at least one street performer.
Epcot... until we have done the Lands, Body Wars, Test Track, Malestrom, watched at least one performance in a country, seen the American pavillon, eaten at either Norway, Canada or Garden Grill
Magic Kingdom.., riden Space Mtn, Splash Mtn, HM, Buzz, Peter Pan, and for the mom Small World, grabbed a hot dog at Casey's, and watch fireworks
Animal Kingdom... Festival of the Lion King, It's tough to be a bug, Safari, walked at least one of the trails, stopped to talk to a cast member of two, hear the drums play in Africa, shop, stare at the Tree of Life, and now after the last trip - eat at Donald's Resturantarous!

disneyfanatic, can we go shopping together? I like to shop with people who know how to have a good time!
This is a great question, JennyAnne!
MGM: MuppetVision 3D, Star Tours, Walt Disney: One Man's Dream
MK: Haunted Mansion, Mickey's Phil, Wishes
Epcot: Spaceship Earth, Impressions of France, Illuminations, and a walk all around World Showcase
AK: Safari, Festival of the Lion King, and gaping at the Tree of Life. Also shopping in the store that has the most animal stuff!
My lists are pretty short because we really do like to keep things easy and flexible. We know we'll be back. But you always have to do the very favorites.

Wow! You guys really made me think of some attractions that I haven't thought of in awhile. I would like to get my list together and then have Jeremy read some of the descriptions so we can come up with our lists of what we must do. This will be our only WDW for a long time, so I want to make sure we do it right!
Thanks for your help!!

Also, its not a trip to Disney until I have ridden the monorail, had 1 character meal and 1 dinner at O'Hana.
