I was doing more than resting on my vacation, here is some new info from Deep Croaker.....

1) He expects the next DVC Announcemant in November of this year. Unsure if CRV or California.

2) DVC almost out of current phase I AKL points (only 100 units in Phase I), Phase 2 may not sell until late 2008 depending on construction schedule, currently 5 months ahead of plan.

3) If you do not have a guide, or need a good guide, PM me (or email me at snarfer-1@excite.com). A great and wonderful guide that I highly recommend is creating a database of committed CRV Owners-to-be and will fulfill sales the day CRV is announced. In other words, don't risk a possible sell-out of initial CRV points! I plan to buy 10 - 50 point contracts myself. or maybe 20-25 point contracts ;).

4) Despite claims elsewhere, DC states there is about a year until SSR sells-out. (Assuming sales continue at the current rate!)

5) Got AKV Developer points? Good News!!! DC reports that the initial Developer Points with the 7 month expiration will be retroactively converted to 12 month length-of-use, BUT you must contact your DVC Guide and request it!

Great 'rumors' Greenban.

First...you might want to munge your email address or you could be digging through spam to find the real messages.

Something like snarfer-1DVC@excite.com Remove the DVC to send. I'm sure by now all the 'bot have been programed to recognize AT and DOT and convert them back to email address.

It's also good to ask the person to put DVC at the front of the subject so you can find it easily when scanning your mail.

Now back to the juicy rumors....

I was told by a DVC CM in California that there is law that restricts them from advertising real estate for sale until it's even a certain stage of completion or time before occupancy. (I forget the actual law.)

Have the started any construction or conversion of rooms to villas yet? I wonder if the conversion, like at the AKL is there way to get their foot in the door in a few states, prior to even breaking ground on the main project.

So my 'guess' would be the next project they announce it the CRV. People (who aren't already) are going to start to about the new tower when see it taking shape.
