Requesting a special dining rotation

Since we´re celebrating two 50´s birthdays during our cruise in August I´d like to try to request a special dining routation.
Has anyone ever done this in advance?
Where could I call to ask for it.
(I made my reservation through Member Service b/c we go on DVC points)

You can only request a specific rotation if you are in Cat. 1, 2 or 3. Outside of that they have a system that seems to work, based on ages of your group. You can request early or late seating but it is not guaranteed.

Mary, I think you can also request your dining rotation if you purchase the add-on package of Romantic Escape at Sea. This package, at least $300 per couple includes massages, a gift basket and the ability to select dining rotation. You can also secure advance reservations at Palo and the spa prior to departure day. Jutta, are your children going? If so, this package may not suit you or your needs.

Yeah Moley, I was thinking about the Romance package when I posted my original answer. I'm just not sure if they get to choose rotation also. They definitely get to pre-book Palo and I would THINK that is best coordinated by knowing your rotation. But I seem to remember conflicting information on this. Probably best to ask the concierge host when you call to pre-book.
