Universal's CityWalk is actually a copy of the west coast version, which places the parking structure on the far end of CityWalk forcing park goers to walk through CityWalk to and from the park.

I used to drive of to USH's CityWalk just to shop until I got annoyed with being required to pay for parking even at night. USF's doesn't usually charge for parking after 6pm.

What has always annoyed me about the layout of DTD is how PI breaks up the area. I found it kind of rude to make peope take the narrow path in the parking lot behind the buildings to get from one end to another. I wish instead, they'd have put PI on the far end of DTD and made a more welcome transition from the family friendly Marketplace to the more adult feel of the Westside.

I personally don't consider the "Hip Hop" look a "Fashion Statement." To me it screams, "Gang Member." If it walks like a duck, and talks like a duck, then it's a duck.

That parking lot in the back was an after thought Robin. When parking became such a problem in the front, that whole back lot was put in. But Orange County is doing a pretty good job patrolling it.

As far as racism goes, I for one am very happy that the whole area is now crawling with cops and security. We park in the exact same spot every Saturday night (far out as heaven forbid anyone even thinks of breathing on the Misters car ) We must walk by at least 12 -14 cops before we hit the door, I LOVE IT.

These parents that just drop off their kids to "hang around" are just asking for trouble. Why would kids just want to stand around anyway? My biggest peeve is when we leave the theatre through a side door, and there are kids just waiting to sneak in without paying
